Hard to watch. Brick-fest.
I could have told you not to bet the over...

You can't have thought the UVA/MSU 140 point brick-fest was an accident? Especially with the ACC champs that knock down threes playing.

This was always the criticism of UConn until they got to the tourneys and shut teams down from the perimeter, same as MSU today.
Yeah, but you didn't.
I didn't see it until I checked out the FFA gambling thread at the half. Was a bit dumbfounded, but good luck!

eta* Because if it goes over, we're hitting shots, which I like.

MSU is playing 4 on 5 offense with Appling in there. I know he's a good defender on Napier, but if they leave him out there they might not score another point.

Already wrote off the over bet. I'm bigger on UCONN +5.5. Almost hedged at the last TV break but glad I didn't.

As a Wisconsin fan I fear the unknown more than the known. Go Michigan as I think it is a coinflip against them in the final four.

Last thought on the refs from last night, they were bad. A number of calls that I didn't agree with in no particular order...

1) Pushoff on Arizona

2) Overturn of the out of bounds

3) Kaminsky's 2nd foul

4) Gordon's 1st? foul when Hayes elbowed him out

There are others but those are the big ones as they were magnified because they were at the end or they changed the way that the players had to play defense due to foul trouble.
1) Agree...while he pushed off...Ive seen it not called. But many times a ref sees that arm extended and calls it.

2) Yeah, not sure how it was indisputable...same as if they had called it Zona ball at first and not been able to overturn it. Add in the shot of the guy stepped over the line defending the inbound and it was an all around #### up by the stripes there.

3) Big one there...

4) I think Hayes got away with that twice. That one was right after Bo got the T for getting on the refs...it worked.

The ebb and flow of this game is silly. Two commercial breaks ago, the odds on UCONN winning the game were +1000. Now they are -400.

As ugly as this game has been it is shaping up to be a great finish. Not sure either team can beat Florida playing like this.
Never underestimate how crazy defense influences games. Have a friend who played for a long time and has a D-1 uncle for a coach. It can look so bad, but be so effective.

Think of of 90's Knicks basketball.

Anyone have a good NBA comp, past or present, for Napier? He reminds me of so many guys, but not one in particular. Great handles, quick, can shoot the lights out.
reminds of kemba
Same guy that came to my mind.
How about a better-shooting, young Mark Jackson?
much shorter
Kemba was better on the drive. Quicker. Napier is a better shooter.
