I don't want to drop them. I agree with runitup that they will have far more good games than bad. Esp vs their division. I just hate the matchup this week. I can make room by dropping a bum named pierre thomas. Denver and phili are available. Kind of like the idea of pairing ne with denver...

I agree, much better at home - on both sides of he ball.
Biggest thing killing the Pats D atm is they are spending most of the game on the field.

I'm sticking with them - #1 DEF in my leagues weeks 1-3 ....... 4 was a dud but even SFO and SEA have dud weeks on DEF
Struggling offense means DEF is on the field more, more chances for INT and sacks, fumbles etc.

I dropped them for the Eagles this week but may pick them back up later. The defense looked horrible against KC though -- they couldn't stop the run or pass.

I had been starting Patriots, but Bengals were rolling before their bye week, and now they are rested. Better days ahead for Patriots D, but stay away this week.
I doubt many of you have this luxury, but I was able to grab Lions off waiver wire, and will start them. I'm keeping the Patriots rostered for now.

This league has turned into a running league, and that defense looked so bad against the run how can you trust them? Wilfork can barely move anymore and if they did not have Chandler Jones they would have no pass rush what so ever. They do get Browner back to make that secondary even better, but teams will see what we saw Monday. Keep running the ball and running the ball. Plus with Brady unable to do anything at all on offense, I expect teams to not drift away from the ground game often and will cause this D to look bad and not get many sacks or force many turnovers. They were exposed.

That makes two of us. I picked them up in my yahoo league since I thought the matchup was tasty against an inept KC offense. They got me a whopping 0 points. We are penalized for yardage against in my league...and considering the chiefs had over 300 yards in the first half, I was doomed. Thank god it was only a 0 for me. Last year we could get negative points from our defense.
Someone just dropped the Bengals D so I swooped in and nabbed them. Pretty sure they won't give up a lot all season.
Belicheck is just silly with his personnel groups. It's backfiring on him. He had Sebastian Vollmer playing D-line Monday night for god's sake! An offensive lineman!

The first three teams were Mia, Min and Oak. Were those any test at all? They did give up yards to 134 yards to Moreno, Min was a mess and just lost Peterson and Oakland is Oakland.
You trust them against Bernard and Hill, especially since they will be able to do it all game because Brady is not getting this team first downs?
