Sorry if this has been posted. I just wanted to get it out there and havn't looked.

Montel Owens will be starting for the Jag's at running back this week. MJD & Jennings have been ruled out.

The Jets are ranked 29th against the run giving up 137 yds per game.

Owens could be a nice fill in if you need an rb. ( Hell, even if you don't need him and have an extra roster spot, scoop him up & bench him). At least then your opponents can't get him.

I specifically remember him doing the same thing with a RB a month ago. I think it was Dwyer, and I think it was on Friday as well. I like people who take common knowledge and treat it like an epiphany though.

Owens is a 2x pro bowler as a special teamer. I'm not sure how that translates for him at RB though. Jacksonville doesn't get many rushing TDs.
