I need to contact someone associated with MFL.com.

Here's what going on. I have set up a 32 team Dynasty league, auction, salary cap. The key is 2x players. In the league setup it reads as follows:

Hint: Most leagues allow a player to be only on one roster per league. Changing this setting to "Conference" or "Division" makes this a "Deluxe" league - please see our purchase page for details on how this affects league cost.

Now I'm being told I should have set up a Deluxe league. But my setup criteria is:

Each player can be on 2 rosters per league. League being the key word.

problem

This stems from an error on the prices of the Twin players. Once both players are auctioned the system takes the lowest winning bid for both players. MFL.com states that I should have setup a deluxe league and this would not be happening.

I have been using MFL.com for a long time and have never had a problem until now. I run 5 leagues on their site and have been recomending them to anyone who ask. I'm not trying to cause any problems. I'm looking for help from the Commissioners on this board or anyone who can refer me to a different contact other than those I've tried. Or could someone from MFL.com contact me at diehard.commish@gmail.com.

I have had problems with MFL's customer service as well. I have a different problem than you, but they have been equally ineffective in dealing with it. I am seriously considering moving the league to rtsports as a result of this.

 
Put a post in the MFL thread. Assuming there is an auction report that shows both auctions of the player and their winning bids, it shouldn't be hard to finish in the current league, dump the results into Excel or somewhere else easy to reformat it... then switch the league over to a clean Deluxe one and use Load Rosters to load the players with the different salaries.

By the way, from a database programming standpoint, it doesn't surprise me at all that what you're trying to do needs to be done in a Deluxe league. From a technical standpoint, there can be significant differences to having 1 copy of a player but letting him be on multiple rosters , or having multiple versions of each player each with his own unique attributes.

You are trying to do the latter. If you didn't have unique attributes, such as salary, for each copy of the player, then as they say you could do it in the normal league and wouldn't need the special stuff the Deluxe league has to support it.
