Nerds... Let's talk CISSP (1 Viewer)

I've recently decided to take on the task of getting my CISSP certification and am going to start studying in earnest.  I bought the Shon Harris CISSP Boxed Set which came with the CISSP book, practice exams and a DVD.  Outside of that, I'd like to get some sort of "book on tape" resource to listen to while I'm in my office (and not in a meeting) or in my car during my commute.  Has anyone used the "Simple CISSP" Audible book?  I'm considering getting an audible account just for it but don't want to if it's not worth it.

Any other resources, tips, tricks, or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance, you're all awesome! (except for that one guy, you know who you are)

Are you doing this type of work currently?
Yes sir.  I've worked in both tech support and administrator jobs until taking an IT management job 5 or so years ago.  Looking to expand my current role to envelop our IT security department.

Have had my CISSP, for about 10 years now.  I work more on the audit side.

I got the Shon Harris book years ago and did the SANS class (employer paid).  I probably couldn't pass it now, but I have the letters after my name on my email.   :ptts:

It still seems to be the 'gold standard' in IT Security cert's, but I thought it was little stupid that I had to learn so much about physical security.  Also when I took it there was still stuff about old tech, tokens, rings, etc.  I had to learn about old tech that I would never use.  Oh well.
