***NEW*** 5 Minute Drill: Waiver Wire Special (1 Viewer)

You guys have to remember that this isn't produced solely for the FBG community. I don't see what they could have done different. They said stay away from QB's which I agree with, pickup Brown/Ward which I agree with and they went through the waiver wr's. Most players are in normal redraft leagues not ones with 20+ roster spots where you'd even consider grabbing a Broussard or even a Stovall, etc.

Nice job as always Cec/Bloom/Falletti.

I think people need to remember this show is geared toward the 10+ million Americans who play fantasy football but don't have the time or inclination to hang out in the Shark Pool or spend hours a day on our site and those like it. If I were to script the key waiver wire issues of the week, I can't see how Cec and Bloom didn't hit on all of them. I may disagree about Selvin Young a tad, but that's what makes the world go round.

Hey hey,

We're bringing you 2 episodes of The Drill this week, and the first is up and running! We all know waiver wire moves are crucial after week 1, so we built a whole show around it:

http://subscribers.footballguys.com/podcast/

We especially think you'll like what Mike Garafolo from the Newark Star-Ledger has to say about Derrick Ward.

We've had as many as 7700 footballguys alone check out the show in a single week, so we must be on to *something!* Thanks to all of you for checking it out, and remember not to sweat the "subscriber" in the URL -- the show's free to all.

Tune in tomorrow for another episode dedicated to your week 2 preparation...
Cecil Lammey and Sigmund Bloom did a Great Job, now this is the type of content would love to see going forward. I'm still throwing the flag on Blooms Rankings this week, but after that production I might have to reconsider. GREAT JOB GUYS. Proffessional quality and I know that it aint easy to throw up a production like that in a short amount of time. Hats off to the production crew..

I'd also like to see Lammey paint his face blue or green to match the screen so it's just the hair, with a mouth talking.

We *might* have a sponsorship thing coming up in the next few weeks -- maybe we'll have him do that for the spot! Floating Cecil mouth:"Do you ever have that not so fresh feeling?"[And no, that's not the potential sponsor]

Im not having any problems in firefox or IE... i get the chris brown freeze frame with the big play button. hmm.
Nice 50 seconds of camera time, Sigmund. Tell that camera hog Lammey to let his haircut do the talking and give you more of the material! BTW - iPhone sponsorship?
;)My hair has a stipulation in the contract that states it will get the most camera time. :lmao:
What do we have to do to get you to do one of these with a mohawk? Or even a fauxhawk?Keep up the good work!BTW, do you read off a teleprompter or just go from memory? I noticed a point where you should've said "easily" instead of "easy" (or something along those lines, I don't remember exactly). Anyways, this is a great new offering for FBGs, and if you're not using a prompter maybe you can get Joe "Boat Money" Bryant to spring for one to help polish this up even more.

Quick update: ON Networks asked if we could delay the release of the second show till Friday since the waiver show appears to be pretty popular, and I figured that since no one's got games till Sunday we could stand the wait. :P

So look for the new show sometime tomorrow morning!

  Good effort for a plain jane topic in WW pickups. I thought the phone interview was way too long. Good insider info, but perhaps you can edit a bit more next time. Thanks for hearing us in the peanut gallery  :thanks: on the topic captions in the upper left corner. Hey, it's a cool show and I'm glad to have seen all of them. Keep em coming, you bunch of friggin pimps.

Agreed. Seems like it was aimed at guys that could actually help your team this week. Not a bad idea. I would like to see a bit more on the waiver guys that could impact dynasty/keeper leagues. Brady for example - maybe a bit on what his value is/might be down the road.Just my thoughts. Great job and thanks.
