Based on this thread, which has over 1500 posts, you only need 10 leagues set aside for Shark Poolers. I just want to do some smack talking, and I am sure if a few leagues are set aside, I will recognize many of the names.

Good point. The earlier you sign up, the more likely you should be to get in a league with fellow degenerates who refresh this board multiple times daily, which is kind of who I want to be in a league with.

The sign-up process will be similar to last year's to a degree. A form you fill out and you'll be emailed your league invites soon after. The rest of the FBG Bowl will be managed this year by Sleeper. More info to come!

Hey Shark Pool! I wanted to give you a heads up, we are going to open registration for the ONLINE Footballguys Bowl drafts today. We mention it in the Rules and even make it clear to read the rules via the email, but the biggest change this year I wanted to highlight here to make things are ultra clear. Sleeper is managing our invite process in 2025. This was a process we did manually last year. Sleeper has a great system other companies have used and found a lot of success with. This should allow things to go smoother on that front. Here are the basics of how Sleeper Managed Systems works:

• We are using Sleeper Managed Systems to manage our drafts in 2025
• You will choose your draft time from the eight options and be put into a “waiting room”
• 2 hours prior to the draft, you will be randomly placed into your league
• Draft order will be determined randomly at this time
• You can change your draft time at any point up to two hours prior to the draft

"Dedicated Shark Pool FBG Bowl leagues" signup came first, now it's open to the masses. So they are the same. I'd imagine the technical challenge of trying to group people together is what they avoided by doing the SP signup first. When we get to the playoffs, there will be no difference between the two as winners from all leagues will advance together. Hope this helps.

"FBG Home Leagues" are different and not free like the "FBG Bowl leagues," which is probably adding to the confusion for some.

I got it to work. I logged into Sleeper separate from the email invite and then entered the verification code through there and it went through, allowing me to pick a time.
