New cancer pill shows promise (1 Viewer)

As someone who lost my mom to lung cancer 2 1/2 years ago and a good buddy to kidney cancer a year ago, I pray and hope that this works for all those battling the disease and those who love them.

Not to rain on the parade, but it’s still on phase 1- only a small percentage of drugs progress to clinical use from such early trials, and it typically takes a decade or longer.

You're not raining. We get it. But anytime there is something with a glimmer of promise it is worth being hopeful.

TBH, I look at stuff like this as clickbait- too many miracle cures have died on the vine. Wake me up when a successful phase 3 trial is complete.

worth being hopeful, for sure. I've lost a best friend to breast cancer and mother in law to the same.

but cancer is big business , big money for all involved - Drs, nurses, hospitals, hospice, chemo, drugs, etc.
I'm willing to bet they never 'find' a cure for cancer because it's too lucrative. firm believer that they already have a cure but it would put a lot of ppl and companies in the medical industry out of work. it's sad, truly sad.

A popular conspiracy theory, utter nonsense.
