Anyone notice the new stat on the gamebooks on NFL.com?

QH

Of course, they define the other stats we know, but not that one.

Quarterback Hits? Anybody know?

I think it's hurries. I've been trying to determine whether they're awarding a QH for a sack or whether they're separate.

Unlike PD and INT, they appear to be different. I noticed it both weeks while reviewing the gamebooksTom

I've been looking for ways to tweak my scoring to enhance DL value. I know I could crank up sacks, but I'm reluctant. I like subtle changes when I think something needs improvement. This looks very promising.

Beleive its QB hurries. I was excited to add another stat, but MFL doesn't have it listed.

 This stat is coming along way too late!

My first year of IDP I had Leon Lett as my 3rd DL. That guy was the king of the QB hurry. You'd watch a Cowboys game and he'd be in the opposition's backfield all day long. Then you'd check the boxscore at the end of the game and see 1.5 tackles. :hot:

interesting stat... seemingly not as unambiguous as INT or FF...

what exacly constitutes a QH?

if you pressure a QB into a hurried throw but they complete it, does that count or does it have to lead to an incomplete pass by definition?

sometimes QB throws quickly to avoid sack but other times by design they do three step drop & get it off quickly, it seems like it might be hard to distinguish which is which at times?

* cracker also made mention of this, but i forget which thread...
