New England at Buffalo (1 Viewer)

Screw this narrative of how the Bills were close but the Patriots just made the plays. Over and over in the second half the Bulls were poised to get into scoring range or stop the Pats and the Pats got bailed out with :bs: calls. So sick of it. Yeah, Duke Williams sucked donkey balls, but 2/3 of his awful plays never even should have been possible.

And yes I'm bitter. It happens over and over in Bills/Patriot games and I'm sick of it. It's easy to be win a lot in a league where differences in games often come down to a few plays and the refs are handing you re-does all the time.
I agree. As a Pats fan, there were some pretty horrific calls against the Bills in this game. I thought there were bad calls on both sides, but the Bills got the raw end of it.

But this game was decided by turnovers, not bad refs, although that of course didn't help.

Not a fan of blaming the refs, but I was a little confused at the penalty for slapping a teammate's helmet.

The Bills got dominated today, straight-up. The defense couldn't get off the field in the second half. The offense can't run the ball. Orton looked okay but took some bad sacks and had 2 turnovers. Marrone blamed the turnovers, but the turnovers all happened in the first half and it was only a 6-point game at the break. I'm not sure what happened at the half but whatever adjustments the Patriots made worked, because the Bills couldn't do a damn thing defensively.

Ridley got hurt directly in front of us, and we were seated behind the Patriots bench. He came over to the sideline and spiked his helmet and started punching the bench as the doctors looked at him. It was pretty tough to watch....hope he's okay, but it's gotta be an ACL or something. I watched the replay once and couldn't look at it again.

when did buffalo fans get this whiny?

pats got jobbed all game against cincy and shoving the qb to the ground after the ball is thrown is a ####### penalty --- stop ####### crying

jesus

For me it was 1999 when the Titans got like eight bogus calls in the 1st half that everyone forgot five minutes after the game because of the ending.

But seriously I kinda expect all the close calls to go the other way on the road. They certainly did in Chicago & Detroit.

Football calls are often too subjective to get too worked up about - roughing, illegal contact, holding, etc.

There was nothing subjective about the phantom OPIs. It's frustrating and hard to fathom what they're watching or why NE doesn't get called for far worse in our stadium.

Ya, this is true.

He incidentally hit Ridley, but it was a light slap. Terrible call.
Nope, didn't even hit Ridley. That ref should be suspended for making that call.

Wait what? Looking at that video doesn't show anything. If he did hit Ridley it was harmless and not in any way malicious, if he didn't even worse.

That being said, I was repeating what I had read on twitter, if I can find it i'll post it here.

Found it, from the first page Rudnicki posted it:

Vic Carucci ‏@viccarucci 1m1 minute ago

So Hughes gets a personal foul for trying to slap the helmet of a teammate for making a nice play but inadvertently hit a #Pats helmet.

Tom E. Curran ‏@tomecurran 2m2 minutes ago

Hughes seemingly penalized for being too happy after the play near a Patriot.
