New England at Miami (1 Viewer)

I'm watching the Redskins. Is Amendola playing?
Rarely, in preseason he only showed up in 3WR sets, looks like that is gonna be the trend.
Edelman is clearly the main guy, Amendola is around but won't see near the numb of targets. I might cut him in some leagues if you own him. Barring injury he is not a factor.
Personnel utilization will change every week, I like Amendola and Thompkins to compete for the #2 WR. But whether the WR2 will produce better than Vereen is another story lol.

Moreno's fantasy value would be a lot greater if Tannehill would throw him a checkdown once in a while. He's pretty good at catching the ball, you know.

Mike Wallace so close to catching a td bomb there. He's looking decent.
should have been able to get both feet in. wallace just doesn't do the little things.
Yeah, that looked a good throw.
I disagree, he shouldn't have to worry about his feet with that much separation. Other QBs drop that right in the breadbox and that's 6 points. Tannehill doesn't look very good IMO.
Well I agree with that last part too.

Clay kind of just casually waltzed through a three man tackle before tucking and rolling forward, to show mercy.

Trent Green helpfully noting how important it was for Miami offense to get that FG right before the half even though it was New England who got the FG goal right before the half.

Miller benched?
Came in, caught a pass in the redzone, tripped on nothing. Next play looked like it was designed for Miller also, Tanne laser'd into the ground behind him, assuming the play was blown.

Tannehill apparently upset with Miller.

Miami was rolling with Moreno in the game...insert Miller in the red zone or inside the 10 and things suddenly changed. I blame Tannehill on the pas play but Miller does not have that angry chip that Moreno has, he just doesn't and anyone watching the game will see the same thing.

BTW: This is as bad as the Pats are gonna look. What I'm saying is they will only get better as the season progresses and guys like Revis cement their position on defense and the offense looks like it will find a nice rhythm which allows the defense plenty of rest. I can't say enough nice things about the Patriots today. They are everything you wish your team looked like on opening day.

Moreno is looking as good as he did last year.
Better IMO, he is an instant leader on the offense and IMO he's the one who is leading the charge right now. He is inspiring this offense at the moment. Miami has no business being in this game right now. Cheers to him and a defens ethat stood up. Cameron Wake + Moreno + Wallace= 6 Points right there.

It's important to note, Brady has run 3 plays this quarter so Miami getting the NE defense worn down in the 2nd half is looking good. Another 3 n out or even held to a punt within 5 or 6 play would not be a positive for the Pats. The humidity has got to be getting to them at thi point. Things could not be going better for Miami at the moment except they should have scored a TD on that drive. Kind of a slight momentum bump I would say.

The one possession they had this QTR looked like last year. Terrible route for Lafell followed by a terrible screen to Amendola. Just bad calls.

Jesus the Oline looks like garbage. 3-4 dudes through the line every play.

Miami up 23-20, start of the 4th, need a nice long drive and some points. That's uncharted waters for the Phins, see what they can do. 3 n out would be a bad move.
