I can't find the game. The link in post 1 and www.warlight.net are dead for me and google searches for warlight come up empty.

Try it again. The post 1 link works fine for me, as does typing in www.warlight.net.
Must just be my browser. I get
Server Error in '/' Application--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Description: An application error occurred on the server. It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.
when I click the link or enter the site in the address bar.

Whoopings are available, free of charge. Post here to claim yours and I'll set up a game. Supplies are not limited, but my time is, so get them while they last.

Challenges 1-3 went nicely - I have gotten blown away 3 times in a row on Challenge 4. Last time I had an AI go from 5 to 64 and 7 to 33 in two different spots on the same turn. Sorry - I am done with this game.

Sorry dude. If you can't beat level 4, probably not the game for you.

I'm finding the big Finland map to be a good one to fight the computer on - it seems to be harder than the other maps for some reason.

FBG tourney update- bf off to a fast start at 3-0, with Humuna and Dragons right behind at 2-0.
I really like the round robin format, but damn, that's a lot of games to show up at once.ETA - I should add that I owe my boss about 7 hours of work.

After reading your post, I fought a FFA game in Finland against 3 AI's. It's a fun map and was a hard battle. I prevailed in the end. The great thing about AI is that they don't gang up on you when you've started winning.

I suck. I am just surrendering right away now.
I have surrendered in 4 games, looking like Tecumseh's going to be the 5th. I didn't surrender right away, I just suck.Oh, that reminds me, Gas, get online and accept some surrenders in my game and our team game.

I mostly do 1v1 or 1v1v1 small earth map quick games.

Find them to be mostly enjoyable and easy to get through in 25-30 minutes.

I've done some stomping but I am getting stomped faster and faster, can't quite seem to keep pace in a lot of these games. The tourny is a lot of fun, even if it's a large number of games. Completely ruined my productivity today though!

I can't access at work, so my games will take a lot longer.

I'm learning as I go - I had a terrible start in my bostonfred game, just no real plan. It's quite a bit different than single player.

I'm most intrigued by my game with Guderian - we're 7 turns in and haven't encountered each other yet in any of the theaters.

4 more cheaters in a 2v2v2 format (two teams teamed up all of their bonuses against the third team), even with PM's turned off they just blatantly cheat in public chat. I guess I have to advertise no Poles in the game title and just delete the game if any of them show up.

I'm running at about .500 right now, but I did manage to beat BF. :lmao:
7-2 w/ 1 in progress (Humuna) - congrats to BFred & Gas w/ the wins against me, I think my starting selection of territories was off in those games.
You crushed me faster and worse than anyone. That was brutal.
21 moves, was one of my longer matches (only one longer at 26)If it's any consolation BFred and Gas beat me in 10 and 15 moves respectively before I surrendered, if you don't get off to a good start it is easy to get steamrolled.Wins # of moves10, 12, 12, 13, 17, 21, 26Losses # of moves10, 15Humuna is putting up a fight :boxing:

Humuna and I just started a game together. Should be an interesting matchup.
Close combat. This is a really interesting game - we ended up right on top of each other on every single pick. http://www.warlight.net/App.aspx?GameID=1037935
Yeah that is becoming a problem with this map, there are only so many 3-5 territory bonus regions and everyone hovers around them since that is the key to the early zerg. Better off playing a better map, w/ better cards

new record, 4 turn win v Overlord (just unlucky starting position for him)

I might try giving creating a map a go, I really miss this map from Conquer Club:

The beauty of it is that everyone starts at one of the territories marked homeland or in Europe in the inset square, the rest of the territories are neutral. The European homelands get a double bonus.

I'd like to apologize to everyone in the FBG tournament that I've beaten. Which is everybody I've played, except Tecumseh. There's another person with only one loss, Humuna. His loss was to me. There was another one with one loss, but then he lost to me, too. So I'd like to give Tecumseh some much deserved credit for doing the unthinkable.

If anyone is looking for a challenge, I will beat you three consecutive games on a map and setup of my choosing. We'll use the same map and setup each time, and you can take time between them to practice. The first game I won't even move on the first turn, and I'll play left handed. First come, first served.

Thank God you lost to someone. Start your challenge, plz.
