BF/Fatguy/Sparty just laid waste to a VERY strong team in the middle east tournament. Pinkbladder, Leech_Sucka, and rookie are all good players, and the FBG guys just walked over them (much like they walked over the Tick/Gaspumper/Sidewinder team in the first round).Nice work, guys.

We're inching our way through the loser's bracket on this one... it would be cool to meet you guys again.

Any ideas for the next All-FBG Tourney?

I'm thinking a 2 v 2 v 2 round robin, but can't decide on a map.

Also, do we want to assign teams? Randomize them with a standard game like we did last time? Or let people choose their team mates?

Looks like there is no option to play a round robin with more than 2 teams. The only way to get more than 2 teams is with a single elimination.

I'd love for there to be an easier way. I can't find one with the settings.There's probably a website designed for randomizing stuff, I'll do a little search. Otherwise, I could throw names into a hat. In either case, everyone will have to join the correct team, which seemed to be a huge pita last time.The other advantage of setting up the pre-game, is that we know who is interested in playing before creating and assigning teams in the tournament.

I think randomizing is nice. The third party randomization software you suggested below is a good idea, or just draw names and we'll (likely) trust you. I liked the 3 x 3 format from last time and the East Asia map, but am up for anything if people want to vary things a little. Maybe the Poland map (it might be more fun without the indigenous population participating) or one of the newer or less common maps like Canada, Africa (not sure if that one is released yet; I helped test it and it seemed solid) or another one that I'm not thinking of?

So this thread got me hooked on the game and after a bit of time invested (too much, in my wife's opinion) I have beaten 2 of the 3 Challenge levels (not beaten the Insane). What's the best way for me to start wasting time with the online multiplayer gaming now?

Just beat challenge 2. Started in Africa, took it. Then I proceeded to take antartica, then south america, then North America and so on. That stupid level took a ton of tries.

I need a little more practice - but I'll be ready to join a few of you guys in tournament play soon...Able to beat Europe in 21 moves but can't get by challange 2 yet.

Has anyone here beat Insane yet?

I have not - any hint in here?So far I have mastered the other levels - 7, 16, 28, 27, and 34 But, I am stuck on finding a good strategy on the Insane level.

Has anyone happened to notice that Challenge 3 is a tad bit frustrating?

Yes, I've only tried it 15 or so times but am concluding my strategy isn't the one. I've been landgrabbing like crazy but the boundaries are then too weak to defend when the enemy comes on like a wave.But I fear shoring up one or two strongholds will allow the coalition to grab so much land I'll be facing 150 armies per turn to my 35-40.

Okay WTF, I tried the insane challenge 100 times and lost. I have been close when some ####### puts down 100 guys and trounces me.

I can't seem to beat the Europe challenge levels. Have tried advancing through France and such, and also up through Scandanavia, but I get crushed hafway through. When should I use my 120 men reinforcements?
