This arguement was brought up in the other thread, so I thought I would make a poll on it by itself.

Of course - where is the defeat in that record????

I would say that it would be a "undefeated" or "unbeaten" record, but not a "perfect season". Arsenal (I know, I know, soccer...) went "undefeated" in 2004, but there were a few ties in there, and ended up with a total 49 game "unbeaten" streak, again, though there were ties.

In hockey a win is 2 points, and in soccer a win is 3 points. Ties are 1 point. Choose your system, makes it easy. Either way the 6-0-8 is a higher point total.

BTW - I do agree with all of you who think 7-7 = 6-6-2

The '72 fins had no losses and no ties - thus, a perfect season.

They are the same five who you argued with in the other thread - whether or not they truly believe that 6-0-8 is better than 7-7.I bet we could name them if we tried really hard.
