Game OVAH! My instinct was to pick the Jets in the gambling line, but my rational went ahead and told me to choose the Steelers at 9.5. Looks like the right choice.
I'm rooting for the Jets as I think they would be an easier opponent if the Pats win. If I am wrong in a footballguy thread contest, then so be it.Game OVAH! that's fine, but to declare a game over in the first quarter is pretty stupid, and anybody who's seen more than 3 games in their life should know better.all I'm saying.I'm rooting for the Jets as I think they would be an easier opponent is the Pats win. I know huh. My gut and instinct told me to pick the Jets, but all the talk about how good the Steelers were brought me away. The Steelers fans convinced me that this team was way better then the 2001 team. I had my doubts, but they had good stats, and I very much agreed that anyone could be better then Kordell. With a 10 point lead, you figured the Steelers could keep it as that is when they become a downhill rushing team.Still lots of time, it would be a huge upset if the Jets won.that's fine, but to declare a game over in the first quarter is pretty stupid, and anybody who's seen more than 3 games in their life should know better.all I'm saying.I'm rooting for the Jets as I think they would be an easier opponent is the Pats win. He and Farrior were an outstanding pair this year. A couple of huge playmakers.Polamalu = MVP?
I love how the Jordan naysayers always bring up that his YPC is due to Martin "wearing down the defense first". Just watch the guy run and you can see he can be a legit starting RB in the right system. No wonder there is so much hype regarding Lamont Jordan on this message board. Listen to these do-do's gush after that run.
The thing I'd like to see, is Jordan after 15 to 20 carries. He looks explosive every time he touches it, he hasn't proven he can be work horse yet. Not that he is at fault for that, he hasn't had the opportunity due to playing with a hall of famer. But still, before he's annoited a superstar, I'd like to see him do it for a full game.I love how the Jordan naysayers always bring up that his YPC is due to Martin "wearing down the defense first". You got meA "geeky" return?
That's what everyone was saying about Fu in Pittsburgh and Barlow in SFI love how the Jordan naysayers always bring up that his YPC is due to Martin "wearing down the defense first". i agreealthough i would like to see how 'explosive' he would be at 25+ carries. It is easy to bust it on 7 carries a gameI love how the Jordan naysayers always bring up that his YPC is due to Martin "wearing down the defense first". I'd like to see it too, but you can't fault the guy for not getting a chance. Considering he was ranked ahead Barlow, Henry, Rudi, and A-train it seems like he would be a decent starter.Kiper's 2001 RB rankingsThe thing I'd like to see, is Jordan after 15 to 20 carries.
