dropped. Big drive here for the Jets as the half ends. The Steelers will most likely make some half-time adjustments on the pass during the half so tieing the score now would be an easier task.

Game OVAH! My instinct was to pick the Jets in the gambling line, but my rational went ahead and told me to choose the Steelers at 9.5. Looks like the right choice.

:D I'm rooting for the Jets as I think they would be an easier opponent if the Pats win. If I am wrong in a footballguy thread contest, then so be it.

Looks like your rational needs to be quiet.

that's fine, but to declare a game over in the first quarter is pretty stupid, and anybody who's seen more than 3 games in their life should know better.all I'm saying.

The Steelers are so lucky that Jet defender dropped that errant Interceptaberger pass too. Otherwise, this would probably be 17-10 or even 17-3 Jets right now.Ben = :X

I know huh. My gut and instinct told me to pick the Jets, but all the talk about how good the Steelers were brought me away. Always trust your instincts.

This is exactly where the Steelers don't want to be.

Trying to hurry up and score.

Prediction: Interceptaberger throws an INT on this drive.

OR they just keep running it. Hilarious. The Steelers hurry up offense is hand Bettis the ball 3x. WTF kind of football is that? They are begging to lose.

The Steelers fans convinced me that this team was way better then the 2001 team. I had my doubts, but they had good stats, and I very much agreed that anyone could be better then Kordell. With a 10 point lead, you figured the Steelers could keep it as that is when they become a downhill rushing team.Still lots of time, it would be a huge upset if the Jets won.

Nice play!Run out of bounds on 3rd down so the Jets have more time on the clock to try to score.

No wonder there is so much hype regarding Lamont Jordan on this message board. Listen to these do-do's gush after that run.

Big Ben is coughing up a furball in his first playoff game so far.But I have a feeling he's going to come out FIRING in the second half...

I love how the Jordan naysayers always bring up that his YPC is due to Martin "wearing down the defense first". Just watch the guy run and you can see he can be a legit starting RB in the right system.

The thing I'd like to see, is Jordan after 15 to 20 carries. He looks explosive every time he touches it, he hasn't proven he can be work horse yet. Not that he is at fault for that, he hasn't had the opportunity due to playing with a hall of famer. But still, before he's annoited a superstar, I'd like to see him do it for a full game.

That's what everyone was saying about Fu in Pittsburgh and Barlow in SF

Steeler fan here.. game is going similar to last matchup with the Jets.. they are a great team, and if they were in the NFC, they would be the team to beat.. I see the Steelers coming out strong in the 2nd half.. watch out for Plax and Randel El, and a huge dose of Bettis.. call it Steelers 23 Jets 17..

Renee Russo   Getting it done. Now back to the game. Hoping for a tight 2nd half and exciting finish.

i agreealthough i would like to see how 'explosive' he would be at 25+ carries. It is easy to bust it on 7 carries a game

I'd like to see it too, but you can't fault the guy for not getting a chance. Considering he was ranked ahead Barlow, Henry, Rudi, and A-train it seems like he would be a decent starter.Kiper's 2001 RB rankings

What the Bus is doing is amazing. I remember him in 2002 and 2003 running like he had nothing left in the tank. Amazing.Sack on Big Ben.
