On that INT with 5 minutes left, the Packers DB went down pretty quickly, like the game was over, and I can't help but wonder how deep he could have returned it. That is a play no one will talk about, but they could have gotten another 3 with a decent return on that.
Exactly what I was saying ... Guy went down as if there was 30 seconds left in the game. Packers played scared and it cost them the game. Even with Sherman hurt they were afraid to throw the ball in the 4th Q

Sux because Seahawks were horrible and did not deserve to win that game but the pack was afraid to put it away.
Just like Russell told us (between his bawling), it was just another God game. Next year GB head to church and you'll be fine.Grab a tissue Russell and go hug your wife..oh nvm.
49ers 8-8

Bless his heart, Brandon Bostick has to be the sickest man in America!

To go from an onside kick to win the game, to overtime lose on a 35 yard rainbow to kearse. After the first half, was about to turn go to sleep.

It's weird how nobody's pimping Lacy as Lynch's equal anymore
Did anyone even do that? I thought that was a Seahawks fan SAYING GB fans were doing that and then the rest of the Seahawks fans attacked GB fans for saying that based upon what that first Seahawks fan said.

I think it was you, wasn't it? Since we're BFF now you can tell me. :)
Seriously?
Yeah, seriously. proninja and I have been BFF for about 30 minutes now.

Somebody tell me again how Wilson throws ANYTHING but jump balls for his receivers > 10 yds downfield. Hasn't happened this game.
Did you see him hit Kearse in stride with the game winner?

Thought same. He coulda easily set them up for final FG. I don't know that in last 40 yrs I've seen a team play worse & get in SB. GB embarrassed Sea until they backed off on last 2 drives. Props to Wilson for making plays at end but lucky onsider (dude blows play with Nelson behind him)& GB conservatism at beginning & end are story of this game.

Bostick needs to be released. Worse is that jordy was right behind him.

One of the biggest choke jobs I've ever seen. If Green Bay wasn't already Title Town, that would be their Fumble, or Drive. That is totally how you play not to lose. They could have easily won it with their last drive in regulation, across midfield, rolling, with 3 TOs and over a minute. But even THEN, they were playing for the FG.

Whoa. Someone needs their dipey changed.
Nope. As a NC State grad I usually root for Russell. His success only bothers me as a Niners fan since it benefits the thugs like Sherman and cheats like Carroll. I know Russell is a winner, he has done it his whole career. The blubbering after the game and the reference to God was over the top.

If I was a Seahawks fan with no history of winning I would excited about these last two years as well. Hopefully SF can be competitive sometime soon, although based on ownership it may be awhile.

He's a niner fan. They just hired the DL coach to be the HC and are talking about hiring Lane Kiffin to run the offense. There's plenty to fill a dipey with there.

I think the GB coaches had a mix-up, and instead of sending in the "hands" team, they sent in the "d*ckfingers" team.

Come on, just use the n-word like you really mean. Don't be a pansy about it.

I'm at a bar in Maryland, and some Cowboys fans are calling Milwaukee bars asking them if they know what the score of the game was. Lol

He needs to be released because of that mistake? He isn't the only Packer that made mistakes in the game including your coach.

This is true.

A dozen things went perfectly-wrong for GB and a dozen things went perfectly right for / were capitalized on by SEA. That is just one of them.

Rodgers can hug his husband.
Olivia Munn makes one hot freaking husband.

Yeah, that was a weird post. "All" the Wilson haters. He's madder at them than he is happy for the win?
Like a little groundhog that popped its head out only after he saw that the skies were clear.

Exactly, his job was to block and let the ball go to Jordy. McCarthy was screaming at him and I suggest that is what he was yelling about.

Rodgers was none to pleased at the conservative play calling late. He didn't want to make a media stink but you could read between the lines, he was pissed about it.

In the first half, the script was flipped.

I have heard this before...but the guy has authority to change palays at the line.Just dont think 8nk there as much disagreement between he and McCarthy as some try to say.

He has the freedom to audible or check out of plays at the line of scrimmage. He needs to do better than a 55 QB rating before he can be pissed.

Fake FG, 2 point conversion, onsides kick.

3 crazy plays and GB couldn't capitalize on any of them.

All makes for a crappy loss.

Congrats Seahawks fans.

So Rodgers can override McCarthy in going for it on the 4th down instead of kicking a FG?

No it wasn't. GB kicked two field goals from the 1. That is not making them pay.

You could play that game 100 times and the first half wouldn't go as bad for the Seahawks as it did. Certainly it *could* have been worse, but line them up again, and that's as bad as it gets.

You are talking 1st quarter with Rodgers not on the field. Try reading and comprehending what "conservative play calling late" means.

Seriously, has there been a marshawn postgame interview yet?
Yes. It went something like this:

Reporter: Marshawn, what does this win mean to you seeing that you were seemingly at odds with the team months ago?

Marshawn: Yup.

Reporter: How does it feel to be back in the Superbowl after starting off rather slowly?

Marshawn: Bread.

Reporter: #### man, give us something. What is your favorite flavor of Skittle?

Marshawn: Bout dat purple Boss.

This game went from the worst game in Championship history, to a great game by the end. I just can't believe the GB Packers collapsed so badly. I loved it but wow. That's the kind of game that breaks a team into itty bitty pieces. Won't surprise me if GB isn't the same ball club next year. Bostick is gone. How the corner didn't break up that 2 point prayer of a pass was beyond belief.

Rodgers rushed all his throws unnecessarily on that last series of downs in regulation. They had every opportunity to score a TD for the win, and he/they blew it.

5 of GB's 6 drive in the 1st half were from their own 43 yardline or better. That's unbelievable field position.

You're talking about perfect play...in that case a team would score a TD after every drive or play, that's not realistic ever, much less in the playoffs.

He wouldn't give that much detail on the skittle question.

Good coaching:

4th and 1 at IND 4(:28) C.Fleming reported in as eligible. T.Brady up the middle to IND 3 for 1 yard (C.Redding).

Bad coaching:

4th and 1 at SEA 1(8:10) M.Crosby 18 yard field goal is GOOD, Center-B.Goode, Holder-T.Masthay.

4th and 1 at SEA 1(5:10) M.Crosby 19 yard field goal is GOOD, Center-B.Goode, Holder-T.Masthay.

4th and 1 at SEA 22(9:42) M.Crosby 40 yard field goal is GOOD, Center-B.Goode, Holder-T.Masthay.

Good game Hawk fans.

I will personally be sick over this game for a long time. So many chances, so many stupid plays. Played so good for 55 or so minutes, only to turn into that GB D I know and love.

It could have gone either way. Nothing but respect for Packer nation.
