The Cards are leading and they shouldn't even be in the game.
Agree but not with the second part. What has Carolina done to separate, exactly? Mistakes count on both sides.
If Ricky the surfer boy doesn't #### up that punt its 17-0 or 20-0 right now.
Not with Superman as your QB it isn't. Can't assume that stuff, especially with a team like this. They're a 7-8-1 team and they look like it.
Are you real? Arizona has done nothing except take advantage of a ####### play on special teams and an easy pick when Cotchery had a stroke in the middle of running a route and decided to spin in circles instead.

One of the 'bold" predictions by the ESPN staff before the game was that Cam Newton would have more yardage than the Cardinals. So far...

Cardinals: 65 yards

Cam: 123 yards

This game hasn't been close, Cam has played like crap and Carolina is losing but even with how bad he's playing, Arizona doesn't score if not for two really dumb plays that had nothing to do with Cam.
You said it, not me. But all that matters is yardage, right?

"I didn't expect Arizona to blitz."

-C. Newton
Block? What's that?

Cam takes his share of the blame, but this isn't just him.
The ball's gotta come out. He can't sit there and survey the field. He didn't see the blitzer because his eyes never left Olsen.
The blame is never on just one guy but Cam has been bad. Really bad. Several poor throws, staying on his primary ream way too long, only looking at half the field and missing wide open guys on the other side because he won't look away. The running game is working and Cam is a major factor to that. Just run the ball and stop giving Arz outs and they should win this.

Berman just made some closing statement, to which Tom Jackson replied "mmmm... mmmm... mmmm...mmmm.....mmmmm.....mmmmmm....."

I think that means he agrees.

Man, Gruden and the other guy are jissing all over Cam. They really want Carolina to win this game.
I don't think any NFL fan without a rooting interest wants to see another game where the Seahawks play the last remaining dregs of the Cardinals bench.

I don't see why Detroit can't beat Dallas. At all. The Lions run defense, as pointed out by Football Outsiders, has been near-historic. I also think their secondary is better than people are giving it credit for. Of course, this may be colored by the fact that I cheer for Detroit when my teams are out of it. Just my :2cents:

Oh, they can and all that. Nobody wants to risk that happening, is all I'm saying.

Coffin corner kick.
Why don't teams do this that much anymore?
I've got to assume some numbers guy did a big analysis years ago and showed that it worked much better on average to hang it high and try to get under it. Either that or they just don't make them like Ray Guy and John James any more.
There was an article someone posted that says they don't teach it anymore.

Why is that guy still returning punts for Carolina? Might single handedly cost them the game.

Jesus christ, this dude catching punts for Carolina. Is this seriously the best they have available? Who catches punts from their knees?
