NFCCG: Packers at Falcons Discussion (1 Viewer)

Great season for the Packers.  What a run. It was a lot of fun.

Better team won today. Good luck to the Falcons.

Love seeing pathetic Bears fans cheering so hard against Packers.  Has to be such a miserable existence.

Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay are on a major run, but that Atlanta offense has so many ways to move the ball.  Seeing what the Falcons did to a very sound Seahawks defensive unit doesn't bode well for one as unreliable as the Packers.  Maybe Rodgers can drag his team to the Super Bowl, but this Falcons offense just seems unlikely to be stopped - at least by the Packers banged-up defense.
Sadly, today's NFC Championship game went about as I expected (and posted above last week).  The Packers ran the table and all, but the Falcons were just too much today.  This Packers fan will be rooting for you to win the whole thing - congratulations to Atlanta and good luck in the Super Bowl!

I don't follow GB closely, but seems like the o-line and a running game should be their main concerns going into the off season, no?
The defense says hi

Oline was one of the best i the league this year (at least in pass pro)

Plenty of wimmins at the party, they appreciate cutesie theme drinks. The schnapps are leftover from last year's event ("Carolina Hurricanes"), and obviously haven't been opened since. And, yes, there are both women in their 50s and in their 20s attending.
My advice... Give it to the ones in their 20's.

It's all we have.  We know our team is pathetic.

I feel like this was the Packers' Super Bowl. They gave it all they had and came away with a dramatic win.

Emotionally, they're drained. I think they'll come out flat. Not enough gas left in the tank. Just a hunch.

ATL 41

GB 23
Forgive this bump. I'm not right all that often, so I have to remind myself it happens occasionally.

Let's be honest, Packers fans. They had no reason being in this game. Somehow they got lucky, real lucky. If I had the bankroll, the smart bet was to take Atlanta. I wasn't sure about the over/under but Atlanta seemed like a easy play today, no?

Good luck going forward...Blank seems like a good owner.  Cool what he is doing with stadium prices and that place looks like it will be awesome

Yes you did
That sort of sums up the last 6 years.  Long past time to figure this injury thing out.  This is beyond ill fate, this is a statistically significant and undeniable trend.

Anyhow, Atlanta, I hope Julio is at full strength in the Super Bowl.  It must have been difficult today to watch him, knowing that he was hampered by injury.  Maybe in two weeks he can have more of an impact

This is why I wanted GB at home. Steelers nor Patriots defense will be able to stop the Falcons offense in the Super Bowl. Falcons defense just needs to stop the opposing team from scoring 30.

Julio's been criticized for not being aggressive or vocal enough.  Any other receiver but him you have a point probably.
I get to yell at my boss? It's either one or the other.

All receivers want the ball. I remember this board talking about Andre Johnson was a team guy. End of his career and not getting the ball he was a whiner.

I'm sure this is not the first time with Julio but because it doesn't fit the narrative this is the first time we see it. ALL RECEIVERS WANT THE BALL.
