NFL Flex Game for Week 11 (1 Viewer)

If I'm not mistaken (and I'm pretty sure you all will if I am) but doesn't the Sunday Night Football flex schedule begin this week? Assuming it does (I just checked on NFL.com and there's currently no game listed for Sunday night, so that's confirmation enough for me), let's discuss which game SHOULD be flexed as well as which one likely WILL be flexed. What's the difference you ask? Well the game with the most public appeal will be flexed, rather than the best/most important match up.. unfortunately..

Anyway, here are the games that I think SHOULD be flexed:

Arizona @ Carolina

Tampa Bay @ Dallas

Buffalo @ Miami

Atlanta @ Philadelphia

New York (Giants) @ Pittsburgh

And the game I think WILL be flexed:

New York (Giants) @ Pittsburgh (too much star power)

Let's hear it sharkies.

No SNF due to the World Series.Week 11 starts the flex schedule.

I still wonder why they do this...I think regular season football would put up pretty good numbers even with the World Series playing.

Currently planned SNF Games that coudl be flexed out:

Week 11 - DAL @ WASH

Week 12 - INDY @ SD

Week 13 - CHI @ MIN

Week 14 - NE @ SEA (this should go)

Week 15 - NYG @ DAL

Week 16 - SD @ TB

Or rather, a more productive conversation -- which game will be flexed during Week 11:

I've starred the ones with promise:

DEN @ ATL**

DET @ CAR

PHI @ CIN

CHI @ GB**

HOU @ IND

TEN @ JAC**

NO @ KC

OAK @ MIA

BAL @ NYG**

MIN @ TB

STL @ SF

ARI @ SEA

SD @ PIT**

Currently slated SNF game:

DAL @ WAS

With the circus in Dallas right now...this game will NOT change.

I agree. I would like to see Tenn/Jacksonville but I don't think a defensive matchup like that will be too appealing to the tv network.

Anyone know NBC's deadline?

And whether any teams are already at their maximum (I think 6) number of prime time games?

Even without the circus, this game wouldnt' change. Even if Dallas loses their next two games, this will be an important game worthy of high ratings.

Fair enough...but the media loves them some bad times in Dallas.

There's a better chance of me releasing a rap album with the Ying Yang Twins than there is of this game getting flexed.- Teams from 2 major markets. check- Greatest rivalry in the NFL. check- Uber carnival going on in Dallas. check- Major playoff implications. check- Massive starpower. check
