Griese/Bradshaw November 14, 1976 (Miami 3, Pitt 14) -- Bradshaw barely played but did start

And of course I'm referring to Super Bowl rings, not NFL/AFL championship rings pre-SB era.

Thanks for the link. I was doing that manually myself over at pro-football-reference.comLike I mentioned, the "more unique" aspect is the total number of rings at 5. Four of those games on the linked page are 2 vs. 2; only 2 prior games were 3 vs. 2.

That's funny! I didn't see the reference on my first glance at the blog.I knew I had mentioned this before, sometime after SB XLIII, but I didn't bother to wade through all of my old posts. Although, probably, this was a thread I started, which I rarely do.Anyway, great find.Patriots/Steelers may or may not be a good game, but it certainly will be unique -- and historical.

No. Joe played only one season (the 1994 season) after Aikman's second. Unfortunately, the Chiefs played the NFC West teams that season (Rams, Falcons, Saints, 49ers).Here's the entire list of games involving multiple SB winning QBs AND games involving QBs who combined for 5 rings. In other words, this adds the 4 vs. 1 ring games to the 3 vs. 2 and 2 vs. 2 mentioned earlier.
