**NFL in London - Jaguars at Bears** (-1, 44.5) 9:30/6:30am Kickoff (1 Viewer)

Engram 10/100 or there about and then you don't have a WR over 30-40 yds? It's not a winning formula to funnel it all thru the TE
Well, Engram isn't a traditional TE, more a big slot. I honestly don't think that is the issue. They just suck
Engram is not as good as you seem to think, roll his number last year over targets, catches vs real production, it's not that good
IIRC the Jags missed the Playoffs last year
And he had a big fumble today, if he were a RB he'd be benched

He's not any kind of game changer at TE
I didn't say he was great, but he sure isn't the issue today. Looks really good actually. He did fumble, but shiot happens.

Thomas drops a TD. Guess he should be benched too

Bears 35 - Jags 10
Let that sink in

-It's not looking good for Pederson but I would caution Khan, how many former Super Bowl winning head coaches are you going to have in the building?
But things have gone really bad since the end of the 2022 season, how long do you continue down this path? You reloaded at WR, that didn't help either.

Shahid Khan stepping out and giving his ringing endorsement for Coach Doug, that's always the kiss of death
The Jags would drop to 1-5 and could Pederson be the 2nd Head Coach fired after the trip to London this season?
Are we looking at him coaching for his life in the 2nd Half today? Do the players feel any responsibility?
Lawrence would potentially be with his 4th Head Coach when you count interims as well.
How we looking?
You're getting blown out in the 4th Q by the Bears

He's changing my fortunes at TE today...
He's a PPR slot machine....
Yes but you would admit doing this in a 35-10 blowout doesn't exactly endure for long term success.
I would sell high immediately
If you think Brian Thomas is going to get 2/20 every week then hunker down w/Engram
In this case, I don't think one has to do with the other. Both can do well. Gabe Davis won't get 8 targets and 2 TDs every week either

Agree on Davis, he actually was fairly ****ty in the 1st half, (FUMBLE and BIG DROP!) this is all garbage time stats right now

I think its more about the Receivers dropping then passes. I saw several endzone drops from Jags.

Not a Tank game and ETN hurt before true garbage time.

But Makes me pause about how much value is in the RB room for this now 1-5 Jags team who should be in shoot outs at best.

Maybe buy ETN low. Won’t be hard.

Weekly reminder that this is the same HC-OC combo that produced the disaster that was Carson Wentz’ 2020 season.

I doubt Pederson is on the flight back from London.

Who are they going to hand the reigns over to the special teams coach. Only one that deserves it at the moment.

If they lose to NE next week, you may be right.

He may not last that long but, the odds go to 100% if they lose to NE.

Bears 35...Jags 16

-Evan Engram investors were doing cartwheels but they shouldn't. It's great that he caught a lot of footballs but they lost by 3 TDs.
If the Jags played a close game or he had a crucial FD or perhaps even a TD cutting the lead to 1-score in the 4th I might say he's more valuable.
But with his 10/100 performance were some woeful numbers from Thomas and Kirk, I would be selling sky high on Engram
He caught 114 balls a year ago n 143 targets and produced...963 yds and 4 TDs from a whopping 143 targets, Engram is not nearly as efficient as you think he is

Jags went 9-8 and won a Playoff game vs the Chargers in '22, that was a good moment. They went 9-8 again last year but missed the Playoffs
The Jags are coming off B2B winning seasons and 2 Playoff games, winning one of them actually in 2022
I don't think Khan is going to fire Pederson, he's not likely to get a coach as good walking thru the doors
Remember 2021, TLaw rookie season? Urban Meyer was a black eye for Khan so he's not likely to make a fast or rash decisions
Even if the Jags go 4-13, they need some more impact players.
I don't see Doug being fired right away this year, could see the DC let go mid season

-Is Caleb Williams really this good? There are Qbs that don't throw 4 TDs their entire career. The bears are beating inferior teams but still, they sport a 4-2 record and will be a tough out in their Division

How would Max Crosby look in a Bears' uniform? Apparently he's available since he shoved his coach yesterday and looks frustrated.
How is Christian Wilkins doing in the middle? Haven't heard much about him since he left Miami

From a Bears perspective, I don't think Poles will be spending big money and picks on another DE this season. The DEF, while not perfect, is playing well together and the DL rotation is working. I would not be surprised if he takes a gamble on an IOL (preferably C), but I suspect he'll hold tight this season and draft OL heavy in 2025.

Max Crosby would look great in any uniform.
Guy is a non stop fun player to watch
He deserves to be on a winning team
