NFL Live should just be called "Pats and Jets roundup" (1 Viewer)

The show is borderline unwatchable. I find myself watching maybe 10 minutes out of the hours its on. Rex Ryan isn't half the coach Ken Whisenhunt is and his face is plastered all over the show. The funniest thing is that neither of these teams can hold the Giants jocks. All show and no go. The Pats are good but very flawed. They are stat compilers. And the Jets, well they are so overrated it isn't even funny.

If they could only find an excuse to talk about the Yankees on the show it would be a dream come true for the folks in Bristol.
Didn't Tebow used to play baseball in high school or something? Maybe the Yankees could sign him to play baseball in the Spring/Summer/Fall...while he could block in punt formations and rush 4-5 times/game on Sundays for the Jets until the baseball season was over. Then ESPN could finally be all Tebow, all the time. :rolleyes:It is pretty terrible.

Only shows I watch on ESPN are PTI, ATH, and Highly Questionable. The rest of the station can burn down with a select few anchors (Van Pelt, Buccigross, Linda Cohn, Erin Andrews) luckily outside of the fiery furnace when it goes down.

Its tough fighting for air time against the best team and their terrible loud rivals (jets).

No... we're talking about the Patriots.

Big market teams bring bigger audiences. That, and when you have several "analysts" that are former Jets, Dolphins, and Cowboys, you're going

to put those teams on that much more, so that they can give their personal insight and personal experiences with those teams. And the whole

"Jets are a trainwreck. Rex Ryan is a trainwreck. Sanchize and Tebow mania are tranwrecks." It fits right in with the fad of the last 5 or

so years -- trainwreck TV (a la "Jersey Shore", "The Bachelor", "Mob Wives", etc.).

Now don't get me wrong, I agree with the OP -- it's borderline unwatchable now.

I tend to avoid the NFL shows unless it's during the season, because the only teams that ever seem to be covered are the NFC East, New England, and the Jets. This season, there is a little Denver sprinkled in as well.

Better than watching Real Housewives of Wichita or whatever crap my wife records, but not by much.

And as scary as it may be, NFL Network might be even worse...

Not that he's alone, but Heath Evans might be the single worst analyst I've ever seen. Anyone else remember when Mike Lombardi completely discredited him on-air, and Evans responded by simply shouting as if that made what he was saying more accurate? And that was Evans' first ever appearance on NFL Network. Bet the higher ups were wondering why the hell they hired him.

Must be the exact same reason the Yankees and Red Sox constantly receive the same amount of airtime as the rest of MLB combined.I could watch an hour of NFL Live or read the Shark Pool for 10 minutes and gain the same amount of information.

yeah that dude is terrible

If you don't like it don't watch it...it's all about ratings and if their ratings dip they will change their format...
