Weber State Wild Cat wide receiver Tim Toone seemed assured of a mid round pick after a big senior year and a good combine. He was seen as a dual threat slot WR and KR in the mold of a Wes Welker. His draft status fell sharply after teams uncovered a recent interview with his school newspaper, the Weber State Signpost. In an interview published in the 1/11/10 edition, Toone made reference to the Canibus Cup, an annual marijuana competition, held in Amsterdam. This seems to have the 1st Class All Big Sky Team WR plummeting on boards. The league continues to be very weary of what they perceive as a "marijuana epidemic that is sweeping not just the NFL, but the heart of liberty". Atleast, that is what Cardinals owner Bill Bidwell believes, having made the statement in a recent press conference. Keep an eye on how he will fall. It may spell not just trouble for Toone, but also any other players who wear a dreadlock style hairdo. With the recent actions of players like "To the Moon" Tim Toone, Adam "Pac-Man" Jones, and Ricky "Sour Diesel" Williams.
