**NFL Saturday Doubleheader - Texans 9-5 at Chiefs 13-1**(-3.5, 42) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

That INT is an indirect result of the crappy penalty call. 3rd and 20, out of FG range, they had to pass and get 5-7 yards. Defense could just all out rush the passer.

NFL should be embarrassed this stuff happens every week.

So that was blatant Offensive PI by the Tight End on the long pass to Perrine, but is it legal because it was within 1 yard of the line of scrimmage?

And a D holding call now. So absurd.
I honestly don't know if that should be a flag. Stingley grabbed Hopkins dread. Is hair considered part of the uniform or part of the helmet? I know its not for tackling, but is it for holding?
I mean, it’s a hold. One they could call many plays. Right after they botched an OPI call on Houston and ignored OPI on Kelce. So in a vacuum, yeah it’s a penalty but…….a weak one……

Ok I just rewound and watched the Perrine play and it might be one of the greatest play calls of all time

When Perrine motioned left, the Houston DB playing man coverage on him dropped down right to the line of scrimmage. I’m guessing Reid had scouted that Texans D tendency and knew they would do that when Perrine motioned

And then because the DB was on the line of scrimmage, Kelce straight up turned and blocked him at the snap - legally because the DB was on the Line

No way of knowing, of course, but my guess is that play was specifically put in vs this DB based on study of Houston D tendencies

Thanks for checking on that because I couldn’t tell if that was legal or not. Pretty awesome if it was.
