NFL TV Schedule and Maps: Week 1, 2020 (1 Viewer)

Love me some 506 sports. Thanks for posting that as a great reminder that the NFL is about to begin.

Pretty sure it’s geographic as direct tv owns the rights to all out of market telecasts. It’s super annoying.
Yeah, I figured. I will do a happy dance once DirecTV finally bites the dust and they come up with a better model for viewing all the games.

can watch them for free here.

So I was gonna use my kids .edu to get the streaming version of nfl ticket but curious as to how the streaming services work?  They get shut down on occasion? How is the streaming quality?

I saw another one someone posted (nflbite?) but not sure I want to give it a go if I can just buy the legit service...

my son gave me this link several months ago.  No issues and quality is great on my laptop.

You know that the Jags are truly terrible when they don't even rate James Lofton

ETA - Corollary to that is Adam Archuleta might want to look at this assignment and consider a career in real estate or something.

The NFL should just sell the out of market games on NFL.com for $15 a game and allow people to stream them.
Without even dealing with any marketing or infrastructure, the NFL would need to get 6.4 million buys every week to match the $1.5 billion check that DirectTv hands them each year for basically doing nothing.  It's not as attractive as you might think.

This is exactly what they do in virtually every market outside the US. Directv throws BOATLOADS of money at them though so they take that over trying to sell to individuals. Directv isn’t long for this world though fortunately.

There are a whole lot of potentially bad early games.

Totally weird that Philly chose to go with the LAC/CIN game. Doesn’t seem like there’d be much of a market for that one, especially with both the NYJ and BAL games being played at the same time, both of which would conceivably have more fans in the area (also bitter as a Bills fan to not get the NYJ/BUF game).
i don't think it's a choice.  i think there's a rule that you can't have a competing game at the same time on the other network if your home market team is playing on the road or something like that.

edit: maybe it's not a road or home thing but you can see that SEA, ATL, GB, CHI, MIN and DET markets all have similar things and they have 1:00 FOX games.
