That tidbit is the least sensational item of the ones I heard.

I had a pulmonary embolism in 2003. Before being diagnosed I was at the point where I couldn't walk up a flight of stairs without being totally winded. Can't imagine him being able to participate in pickup hockey let alone compete at the NHL level.

Just heard this one. Would be very shocked if they moved him for anything shy of a guy who flagrantly helps a Cup run this year. He's worth a ton to the Rangers just for the next few months, so unless negotiations are so far apart that they KNOW he's not returning AND they are getting a good top 6 wing in return, he's staying put.

Agree, would be surprised they would move him without getting something to help a cup run this year. If I was a fan I'd rather they keep him and lose him then trade him for futures.

If he's scoring 4 goals a game, I'm guessing its not the Western Hockey League which along with the OHL is one of the 2 best junior leagues in the world (sorry Q).

Yeah just looked him up,like Aaron says, be wary of numbers of 20 year olds in junior leagues. Top prospects usually play in the AHL at 20. Tambelini's case is a bit different since he was originally going the college route.

Stan's going all in, got better defensively and maybe will allow Toews line to be more offensive. Can Stan get that 1st back by moving Sharp in the off season?

Hawks pretty aggressive. Gave up 1st and 2nd in strong draft plus prospect for 2 rentals. Kane injury not scaring them. It's helping them load up.

With the cap going up so little next year a sell off is coming in the off season so it's all in, Kane's injury really allows Stan to go after players without losing anyone. The 2nd they gave up will be the pick they get from Hayes so they still have a 2nd and I am guessing that a lot of picks will be coming back as the Hawks trade in the off season.
