NHL Off-Season thread:Down goes Kane! (3 Viewers)

0.80 goals per game against, 3 of 4 shutouts for Kuemper...man, Wild really need to address their goaltending. better sign some retread with a name people recognize.
Suter is on the ice for nearly half the game anyways so maybe he can play goal for them since they are in such a bad need for help.

If the offense can get it's act together this is a very tough team to beat and also assuming Kuemper stays healthy.

COBURN & MacDONALD OUT

Shortly after the Flyers resumed practice on Friday morning, Flyers GM Ron Hextall announced that defensemen Braydon Coburn and Andrew MacDonald both have lower-body injuries and will be out for approximately four weeks.

Coburn had been skating with the team for a full week, rehabbing from an injury he suffered on opening night in Boston that has kept him out of the last five games.

MacDonald has appeared in all seven of the Flyers contests, recording three points (1g-2a) and an average ice-time of 22:55 to rank second on the team, behind Mark Streit.

Also on the injury front, Zac Rinaldo is day-to-day with an upper-body injury. He did not return for the third period in the Flyers’ 5-3 victory over the Penguins on Wednesday.

Hextall also announced that call-ups for the injured defensemen are undetermined at this time.

Surprised but glad he got the call.

Although Neal doesn't have answers for the Penguins' playoff flameouts, he believes the team's course was altered permanently after falling to the Flyers in 2012.

Why we struggled in the playoffs is still a tough question to answer, Neal said. I don't think anyone really can.

Without prompting, the Flyers entered Neal's mind.

I didn't watch the game (on Wednesday), Neal said. But I guess they lost again to the Flyers, eh? It's the same thing that went on when I was there. What the Flyers do to the Penguins ... I don't know why things didn't go the way they should have gone in the playoffs. I don't know why everyone got so rattled. But it's not my problem anymore.
Been saying it for years they're a bunch of mental midgets lead by a crybaby captain and his hothead easily thrown-off his-game sidekick, not to mention Marc-Andre Flopper. http://triblive.com/mobile/7019294-96/neal-penguins-nashville

Looking forward to the Hawks vs Blues tonight. Making a prop bet so need some help. Which of these fine gentlemen dishes out the first cheapshot:

Reaves

Hackes

Hackman

Thanks

;)

Whoever is watching video in Toronto is tripping acid or something. No doubt about Jaskin's goal, though!
Nope, but nothing like a horrible call to change the momentum. No excuse for the horrific play in the Hawks end to close out the 2nd. Huge hole to climb out of now.

This team has a bunch of Reavers on it? I hope Mal and River are there to clean the ice up with them
