Me me me and my numbers

.........Barnett says moving to sam would hurt him at the free-agent bargaining table, since his contract expires after the 2007 season and his numbers would nosedive from the 490 tackles, six sacks, five interceptions and five forced fumbles he's had the past three years.

"Look, I can play it. I can play any linebacker position we've got," Barnett said. "But you start to think about other things as well, as far as your future. My free-agent year is coming up. You move me to sam, (and it's) really an unproductive position, doesn't get a lot of opportunities to make tackles.......

Team? what team? Just another player showing his true colors. I understand it's a business and playing for the love of the game isn't what most players are there for anymore these days. But these players are the first ones #####ing and moaning about a team not showing any repect or loyalty to a player when it's contract time. Keep your damn mouth shut and play.

I understand his position to a point. But if it means they'll be one of the best linebacking units in the league if Barnett moves to SAM, he certainly comes off like a jackass if he refuses to move.

I agree. No question he has every right to feel that way, just keep it out of the damn press! Don't make yourself look like a greedy and selfish ########.Not that difficult
