Call at 1B. Same ump that blew the stolen base at 2B last night probably blew one tonight. It was tough to see precisely, but it certainly appeared as if Aubrey Huff's foot came off the bag. Still called it an out though, so Cox got tossed after he threw his hat on the ground.

Huge gutcheck moment by the braves there!

I'm sure Bud is praying they scratch a run here, because if they go down, the LDS round isn't looking too encouraging.

Yep. About to yell some profanities at Farnworth thereIf you're a Giants batter, the only thing you don't want to do there is keep it in the infield there.

Really did not see the Braves winning either of the first two games I thought the Giants would win the first two and Braves the next three, starting to think the series is over, Braves won't lose at home.

 
It ended up working out, kind of, but the decision to insert Glaus at 3b at that point has to be seriously questioned. When he went in, I turned to my son (big time baseball player) and said..."they are going to bunt to Glaus" and sure enough, they did, with success.

Glaus has NO mobility. That decision led to the bunt. That bunt led to Wagner being hurt. Yes, Glaus ended up with the DP, but it was a horrible decision. I do not understand putting Glaus in at 3b and then Hernandez at 2nd, taking Infante out.

It was a part of a double switch so Wagner/Farnsworth would be able to pitch more than one inning. The alternative would have been Diory Hernandez who brings a better glove but no bat.
 
No posts? Seriously, this game has been >>> than the 4:00 NFL games and I don't have a dog in the fight.
