No reason not to drop Selvin (1 Viewer)

I'm not. I hate Shanahan, but Selvin is the best runner on that team right now. Let's hope he gets healthy and resumes his main guy role. It's not gonna be Tatum Bellhop.

I dropped him. Here was my reasoning...he was out for 4 weeks with an injury. He reinjured it last week. Why would I believe that the same injury that kept him out for 4 weeks would be miraculously healed in a week or two. Even if it does heal soon, I think the chance of him reinjuring it again is likely. Also, lets say he doesn't play this week, but miraculously heals and plays the following week. Would you start him with any confidence? Probably not. That means that under a perfect scenario you would at least be sitting on him for two weeks...and that is IF he gets healthy!

Gold, LondonGold. Gold.Sorry, couldn't resist. These are my feelings exactly. Good post. :goodposting:

It really shouldn't be that hard. He was out a month (?) and after a single carry couldn't continue. He won't be back in the next couple weeks & even when he does, what over the course of the past 2 seasons leads you to believe he'll get more than 10-12 carries???

The fact that there aren't any other good RBs on the denver roster...all on IR.Explosive offense-checkNo competition-checkI like his chances of producing. I didn't like them at all until Torain, Pittman, Hall...et al went down. For now I'll hold, until he gets healthy. (He just had 10 days off...can't hurt)
