How did this become country music is just country music and rappers/hip hop artists aren't talented unless they play an instrument? If you make millions of dollars entertaining people, then you are doing well for yourself and have a degree of talent regardless of opinion. The facts that are not in qusetion:

1) Mr. West embarrassed a young lady who did absolutely nothing wrong, but try to accept an honor while trying to be a crossover star (pop/country).

2) Taylor Swift performed a song less than 10 minutes after the embarrassment, showed a lot of composure and class by not lashing back at Mr. West.

3) Beyonce who Mr. West was trying to defend (or use as a scapegoat) showed a lot of class when she won invited Taylor up on the stage to complete her speech.

I meant to say producing and songwriting credits. In any event, I'm not sure I understand the humor. I'm not a fan of rap or hip hop myself. But I can recognize the creative and musical process underlying the writing of songs of the genre.
