What's up with that. I open up the blogger page today to learn that

Alex Smith has a boo-boo on his right arm.

Michael Robinson has a bruise on his shoulder (duh, you are a running back now).

Frank Gore has bruised ribs.

THIS IS FOOTBALL PEOPLE!

If you don't have a bruise, that's because you aren't playing!

Unless someone can find me a link where the players are actually whinning about being bruised, then this is one of the dumbest threads I've ever had the misfortune to read.

As for why the 49ers stink, no pass rush would be the most obvious answer.

No bruises aren't noteworthy, but the players cannot control what the media leads with can they? The only instance of 'complaining' I saw was Gore saying his bruised ribs hurt.

Yes, your correct the D-Ends are not getting all of the sacks, but remember they are running a modified 3-4/4-3 with Lawson lining up as a OLB sometimes and as a DE sometimes in a 3-4 you bring players from different spots all the time this is the beauty of the 3-4 it keeps the Offense guessing... Would a great pass rushing end be great to have?... Absolutely! but to say thier pass rush is non-existant is not correct either... Does Baltimore have a Pass rush? Thier LB - Bart Scott is tied for the league lead with 5 sacks... Westbrook did shred them last week... But then again Westbrook as shredded alot of defenses hasn't he?? Now don't get me wrong... I'm not saying the Niners D is dominant or even really good... I'm just saying that this thread even being started was kind of stupid to begin with!!!
