I don't know, I think Tony Romo is his best when he's rolling out, using his athletic ability to buy some extra time for receivers to get open down field.
I know the Giants are an excellent pass rushing team and I'm sure they've worked on quick drop backs and throws to try and beat the pass rush but on 3rd and 8, a 4 yard pass just isn't going to cut it.
Two years ago, Romo was just more mobile IMO making him a threat to possibly pick up the first down with his feet. Now, I don't want a runnning QB but I do like a QB who can pick up a 3rd and 8 with his feet if you have the middle of the field open.
I hope they start calling some rollouts to Romo's right or he does some scrambling of his own. Witten should be eating up the middle of the field with the secondary the Giants have in there right now.
