He's been catching the ball underneath the DBs. 1st was a hook or curl against Revis, 2nd was a hook or curl vs Cromartie and 3rd a crossing pattern I think vs Cromartie and the Safety, that one was a great play, Nicks had Cromartie hanging onto his facemask during the catch.

Why wasn't that a live ball after the block?

Because It crossed the line of scrimmage you idiot.

If a blocked field goal is in or behind the neutral zone, it is treated like a fumble and can be advanced by either team. Beyond the neutral zone, a blocked kick is treated like a punt or missed field goal and can be advanced only by the defense, unless a defensive player fumbles the ball, after which an offensive player can advance it.

not sure what game u were all watching. The Giants completely manhandled the Jets on both sides of the ball last night only to have Eli and a few questionable calls lead to a 7 -3 Jet lead at the half.

The Giants D held the Jets to 73 total yards and 4 1st downs in the first half. Meanwhile the Giants piled up 224 yards and 13 1st downs. Giants controlled the clock for 18:20 vs the Jets 11:40 and they seemed to be able to run the ball at will while barely even utilizing Bradshaw.

I really don't give a crap about about the score in a preseason game ... I'm looking to see positive things and to me the Giants were a couple of preseason mistakes (Eli) away from a completely one sided game.

You could see the Jets frustration as they were pushed around on both sides of the ball.

I don't think Cruz did anything to win it, but Eli was so bad it's hard to evaluate Cruz's performance. I think Hixon has done more in camp and preseason so far.

Looks like McKnight had more carries, but Powell had the score. Anyone know how this race is shaping up? Saw McKnight doing some work at KR. The third back probably gets quite a bit of action if anything were to happen to Greene.

Will the Jets carry three RB's or four? Saw Powell was playing special teams, can that keep him on the active roster?
