The dynasty league I commish had waivers run one week prior to the regular season last year but this year we changed the rule to only have waivers run during the regular season. Now I have an owner that is pissed that we changed the rule. He was not present for our rules meeting. My position was that the majority of the leagues I see and read about do not have a waiver process during the off-season. What is the consensus of the FBG nation on running waivers during the off-season?

I play in 3 dynastys, and all have an off season WW. We all wanted year around "action" and this certainly gives it to us. This coming from a Ricky owner, who just drafted him (late) in an initial startup dynasty....
