I'm getting real tired of these third down passes to a player who is not beyond the LOS.I understand the last dump off, but at least three other times I have seen Brooks hitting a receiver who is in a pattern 2-3 yards shy of the first down marker. That is really on Haslett - gotta put your safety read in a positionwherehe can catch somewhere near the marker and is able to try for the first down even if he is hit right away.

His head was down and he wasn't looking - or he took a cheap shot - because he had two full steps afte the ball was gone before hitting Vick.He wouldn't have gotten the penalty if he hadn't led with the helmet and tried to pull up.
