Tryon plays much bigger than his size indicates. He has very good speed to mirror the receiver throughout the route and has a smooth backpedal, coming out of his breaks with good explosion. If he can ever develop better timing and better hands, he could be a dominant pass thief. He is a bit too cocky at times, sort of like Fred Smoot, and this leads to unnecessary penalties, but he has had good success taking on receivers that tower over or out-weigh him considerably with relatively good success.

With most of us being FF drafters...we understand that you dont draft a QB early because they score the most points. You wait until a QB has value. To maximize your teams potential. The last 2 picks had zero value. Both could end up being good players...but they could have been just as good if picked where they have value to go. Looks like these guys went a couple rounds prior to where other teams had them ranked. Id love to get Snyder and Cerrato in my redraft league.

Kid on the phone with us now. Ray Guy, the all-time great punter, is a family friend. Durant, like Tyron, has no lack of confidence.He called himself - "the best in the crop," of punters, and, didn't think it unusual to be taken with the second pick in the sixth round. "I think the Redskins made an awesome choice," he said. Wow. Fair to say Frosty has some competition now.

Skins got great value in every player the took. Like it or not, they had one of the best drafts (as far as truly getting the BPA) that they have had in a long time. They got the #1 rated WR, TE, and P. Again, not sure how Redskins fans can be that unhappy with this draft. I think they had a top 5 draft this year.

Strengths:

Relentless with a non-stop motor....Is stout at the point of attack and does a nice job versus the run...Great strength...Sheds blocks well...Excels in pursuit....Offers some versatility...Very active with great range....Hard worker with top intangibles.

Weaknesses:

Doesn't have ideal height or bulk...Below average timed speed...He is not a great natural pass rusher...Not very athletic...Doesn't use his hands well...Questionable awareness and instincts...Upside may be limited...Just two years of DI experience.

Notes:

Transfer from Fort Scott Community College where he played both defensive end and tight end...Was a two-year starter at Kansas St...Related to basketball hall of famer Calvin Murphy...Could play in either a 43 or a 34 scheme...Jack-of-All-Trades but master of none..Could compete for a roster spot but profiles as just a backup.

Not sure if you were looking at this site last year but just about everyone was livid they didn't draft a d-lineman. This year....no D-lineman. Regarding getting the best WR...maybe...but in the second round...best TE...we have a top TE already with no injury risk...and a punter...OK...I didnt like Frost. But at some point you have to address NEEDS. Filling NEEDS improves the team. I wonder if the skins brass actually did a mock draft and looked at what other teams might be thinking and where there players should fall and draft accordingly. I'd also like to know what is the average age of our defensive front seven?
