***OFFICIAL 2009 NFL DRAFT*** (1 Viewer)

The Raiders draft . . . Tanner Boyle.

Tanner? Tanner? You'd better get out of bed because you're now a third rounder!

talent wise the Bengals having a great draft so far
Andre Smith was the best o Tackle in the draft. The Bengals really hit with him. However, I don't like the Maluaga pick at all. Johnson is a pretty good risk at this spot. If the coaches can get him to harness his talent, look out.

thing aobut Johnson is I get the feeling that if a team like the Ravens drafted him he'd turnout to be an all pro. With the Bengals he's just as app to be invisible like he was at GT

Raiders with only a 3-round reach!best pick of their draft! Woo-hoo!!
Honestly, I feel for devoted Raiders fans like you right now. This is so bad all you can do is laugh. This is like the worst guy in your FF league running a NFL draft. I can't imagine how they could botch this any more.

Nice to see the Lions and Bengals having a good draft. The Raiders, well.....

As far as the Dolphins are concerned, I like the 2 CBs they took. Definitely filling a need. Pat White was a reach IMO. Not saying he can't play in this league, but they should have taking a legit WR prospect like Mohamed Massaquoi. They definitely have to address that today.

People are overstating the "invisibility" thing. He had 9 sacks and 19.5 tackles for loss and dominated some games.

Jerrah is giving Al a run for his money. Roy Williams for 1.20, 3.20, and more in a WR deep draft ... letting TO walk for nothing, letting Roy SS walk for nothing ... trading down from the 2nd when several great choices at OL, DL, and SS were available yesterday ... now taking LB17 in the early 3rd.

Cowboys Draft question...

Any insight into what else there is to Jason Williams over than the fast 40 time at the workouts? Is he a thumper? Is there any chance he could move to SS with his speed? Does anybody have any idea about his hips? 3-cone?

I fear this a bit as well, but Zimmer has been getting a lot more out of the guys they've had. I think he'll make a big difference with the kid.-QG

I have seen notes that Jason Williams was a fast riser because of his timed speed. You can't look at the rankings in a vacuum.

Have you missed the discussion about the Oakland picks?

Texans get Caldwell.

Great pick. Can probably play guard too. Very athletic.

Hey I agree with you! I think the Texans are having a solid draft.
See that. We aren't even to the 4th round yet and we agree! And I also really like the Texans draft. Cushing and Barwin are two very versatile players to insert into that defense, and Caldwell can crack the lineup in year one.

Rashad Johnson is easily worth the price tag at this point in the draft. Excellent S prospect. Someone will get a solid player in the next few picks if they select him.
