Garrett is going to be wrongly fired at the end of the season, go to Miami, and turn that offense into a juggernaut.

How quickly people forget when Garrett
had this offense firing on all cylinders in 2007 and they finished second only to the record breaking Pats that year. I can not emphasize how piss poor this offense line has become. Garrett's offense like Norv Turners is a vertical offense the QB needs time in the pocket otherwise the scheme doesnt work. It is maddening that the o-line could deteriorate this quickly. Garrett is so cerebral and his flare passes that he likes to call are trying to slow down the defense because his offensive line surely cant but to the average fan Garrett is an idiot. Mark my words, Garrett will be the next Sean Payton if he leaves here.
That was his first season with Dallas as OC. He took over a pre-existing scheme after coming over from Miami, where he was the QB Coach. As he's installed his own offense, they've gotten worse and worse. They were #4 in points, and #5 in yards the seaosn prior (2006), so it's not like he improved them dramatically. On the other hand, they've declined since he's been there, to #18, #14, and this year #19 in points, and #13, #2, and this year #10 in yards.
In '07 Sparano was still in Dallas as the OL coach and Asst. HC. He had much more to do with the team's success offensively in '07 than Garrett IMO.
