Fielder really needs to step in in these playoffs for Detroit, his approach and results have been mediocre all year.

I'm skeptical that's what VMart was doing, but if so, pretty stupid imo. Balfour is the last guy I'd want to fire up on that team. Dude is crazy intense and seemingly feeds off fire. If that's really what VMart was trying, Tigers suck at the intimidation thing. Gray hadn't hit 96 once when Hunter tried his shtick. After that Gray hit 96 on 4 of the next 8 pitches, including blowing 2 past Miggy to end the inning.

Great series thus far, but Tigers still have a good shot imo. Straily is real hit and miss and if it goes to game 5, Scherzer is a terrifying arm to face.
