Profar is 2 1/2 years younger and has one more year under team control than Miller. Whatever happened to Miller towards the end of the season doesn't help his trade value either.

Profar is 2 1/2 years younger and has one more year under team control than Miller. Whatever happened to Miller towards the end of the season doesn't help his trade value either.

I honestly think he got the Strasburg treatment without the hype because he was kept "active"

Can't wait for next season so we can forget this one. Boston can enjoy this year. Glad the nucleus of the team is old and they'll fall off quickly. Looking forward to it.

Ortiz, Lackey and Uehara are old. Maybe Peavy as well considering his injury history.

They have some free agents but lots of money to spend on them. Their farm system is probably top ten even with Bogaerts graduating. The Red Sox aren't a dynasty but they seem better positioned for sustained success than anyone else in their division.
