Lord some of you are clueless. Do you guys realize we had 3 TDs that instead led to 6 points because of small unfortunate stuff? Jeffrey dropped a TD in the 1st half; Bennett almost scored (and he probably did if only the packer defender was not in the way of the review) at the end of the half and Josh Morgan almost scored when he was out of bounds at the 1 yard line (and that led to a FG after a penalty). Do you realize this game would have been different if only the ball bounced a little differently? We dominated their D running and passing at will all game. The int on the Marshall play was bad mis-communication but nothing that cannot be fixed. The int to Matthews was a fluky tipped ball - that happens. And our D would have been better if Allen and Ratliff were there (you know two pro bowl players). And finally, the refs gave the packers some really good freebies with some nonsense calls.....that hit by Mundy was not illegal. We expect our safeties to hit those WRs if we are going to have any chance against the passing teams in this league. The call on special teams on Bostic that converted a FG to TD was a bad play by Bostic but again, very correctable.
We had all kinds of crap go against us today (even before the game started with Allen and Ratliff not playing) and yet we hung 500+ yards of O on those guys. If we are relatively healthy, I will not be surprised if we beat them in Lameblow.
You call others clueless...but you call the INT that Matthews had fluky and talk about people "almost scoring".
Yeah...Cutler almost had another pick too if Tramon would have rolled the other way and ended with the ball on his belly or gotten his hand under it as he went tot he ground.
BTW...the Bears had a few freebies too (illegal hands to the face on Peppers...the light tough to Cutler's head called on that slide).
You have a very good offense...with a QB that can play as well as anyone (and nearly as bad as anyone) any given day.
Your D (like the Packers D) simply sucks.
