12 Team PPR

1 RB, 2 WR, 2 FLEX

Gave: Arian Foster

Received: Cordarelle Patterson and Trent Richardson

I am 5-5 on the outside looking in, other member is undefeated and this gives him the championship on paper.

Leaguemates saying I got raped but I feel like I got decent value. Patterson's value won't be any lower in my opinion. And Foster has maybe 1 more good year left? He'll be 30 after next year with tons of mileage.
Oh hey Matt. You still are alive. Thanks for going AWOL in our startup dynasty league where you WERE commish. That was pretty cool of you but I guess you're pretty busy getting trade raped in your other leagues?
Wow

Amazing

What's worse is this is only one of the few leagues that he went AWOL in as the commish.

gave:

charles sims

2015 4th

2015 5th

got:

lynch
Lynch
Agreed. I am as big a Sims fan as anyone but Lynch is still a solid player...Sims more of a mystery
Then you probably won't like my deal.

Gave: Lynch, Kearse, Kawann Short (all on one year deals. Could possibly get a 1st if I lost Lynch in FA, but more likely nobody would bid enough to get him while losing a 1st)

Got: Reggie Bush, Marqise Lee, Allen Robinson, 2015 2nd

I also own Hurns if that matters.

Team A gave Dwayne Allen TE Colts

Team B gave Gavin Escobar and a 2015 2nd rd pick (could be anywhere from 3rd to 11th pick of 2nd rd, standings are that tight).

Top 2 pick = SUPER STUD which it appears Gurley, Gordon, Cooper will be and which Cooks is not IMO
I would take a top 2 pick for Cooks - but let's not act like it's such a stretch. Cooks was picked in the 1.04-1.06 range of most rookie drafts last year and is on pace to catch 85 balls and score 6-7 TDs as a rookie (despite his home/road splits).

There are no guarantees that any of those guys will be super studs - a quick look through your past rookie drafts will tell you that.

10 Team - standard QRRWWWTK

Gave: Matt Ryan and Zach Ertz (already have Jordan Reed and Russel Wilson)

Got: Austin Davis and Julius Thomas

Also contemplating:

Giving Justin Hunter to get Philip Rivers (primarily for the playoffs) - I am deep at WR: D. Thomas, B. Cooks, R. White, M. Floyd, D. Jackson & J. Hunter
Some one gave up value for Matt Ryan? I'm considering dropping him for a kicker....well not really, but the guy has been terrible this season.
I tried to swap Peyton for Ryan in a bad luck rebuild and got turned down. He did start really hot and the OL has been in shambles since early on. I do think Ryan is a solid buy - 3 low yardage games in a row smells a lot like a buy low. But not at the expense of Thomas.
Yeah I'm just bitter because I was 4-2 before trading Romo and Asiata for Ryan, and going 1-3 since. At worst he's a good QBBC guy if you start him at home.

Like this deal alot for you actually but Robinson and Lee were both at minimum high 2nds.

Exactly.

GEtting the hottest new toys is always nice, but you may be taking a HUGE step back if you sell Cooks to draft another Tavon Austin...

Again, I can "See" making this deal in a nonPPR league... In PPR, i think youd be crazy to let cooks go for anything other than a King's ransom... A Saints homer in my league has been busting my nuts for him, and according to him, the coaching staff and Brees are just singing this kid's praises, nonstop.

Kenny Stills hasnt been helping his case w his hands too much recently, either - and let's be honest, the stats speak for themselves... he's the no2 target on a pass heavy offense

As a Saints homer, I'll confirm this.

Team A got:

10 team PPR I think this still favors the Forte side but those are some good players going the other way

Team A gave: Justin Forsett

Team B gave: 2015 1st round pick

Team A is 4-6 and likely out of the playoff race due to tiebreakers. Team B is 5-5 and is battling with one other team for the last playoff spot.

ETA: 12-team PPR

absolute robbery getting a first. ughhhhh
That's what every (losing) owner I've talked to has wanted for him. I don't get it.

You think Gurley, Gordon or Cooper have potential comparable to Tavon Austin? I'd say Cooks himself has a better chance to regress to that level than any of the aforementioned guys that you would be targeting with this year's top 2 pick. I get the bird in the hand argument, I guess it's a combination of my being enamored with this year's big 3 and Cooks having laid eggs in almost every away game.

Agreed, unless I was in 1st or 2nd place and only piece I was missing was a RB. Even then it's a lot to give up....

Interesting.

Forsett seems to be one of those guys that's worth more within the actual league to teams that have/need him than he is when deliberating his ranking. I was the team that sold Forsett and both playoff likely teams I talked to were willing to give up the 1st for him.

I can see it from there end too I suppose. He's the #6 RB right now in PPR (#11ppg). The team that bought him has a strong core with Murray, A. Brown, Rivers but was rolling out Joique Bell as his RB2. Forsett gives him an immediate upgrade of ~7ppg not even accounting for Forsett's workload currently trending upward while Bell's trends down.

He definitely has value the rest of this year and I can see why an owner pushing for a title this year would make a move for him. I guess a 1st rounder is worth that, but it's close. If I was 5-5 and just had a shot at making the playoffs I wouldn't have made that move though. I'd be shocked if Forsett is worth anything at all 5 months from now.

Frustrated when I saw this one go thru.

Allen Robinson for Brian Cushing.

16team PPR qrwwwtffk dex2 lbx4 dbx4

I wanted to make an offer for him and he gave him away.

12 team, 0.5 PPR, start 2 RB

I give Jonas Gray

I get 4th round pick

Probably too cheap, but he's was on the cut list as I'd run out of roster space.

I have run into this problem in one of my leagues. I can't get Forsett, Ivory, Bradshaw, and Gore for my running back 2. Every time I have inquired they always ask for Benjamin or Kelce, since I have no 1st. They will not take a 2nd or Eifert and a 4th. All of these teams are rebuilding too.

I can't even get anyone to send me an offer in the league I own Forsett. It's a devy league and I'd definitely take a late 1st devy pick (separate drafts for college and rookies).

He likes Kelce over Eifert? I would take either TE for Forsett especially if I were rebuilding

This one had me scratching my head (and balls). 16-team IDP PPR league.

Team A (contender, but only a remote chance of making playoffs this year) gives:

Jonas Gray

2016 1st

2015 3rd

Team B gives:

Fred Jackson
contender and remote chance of making playoffs doesn't jive. In any case smell your fingers.

Some owners think guys are worth nothing until they actually show something. Eifert for the most part has shown nothing. Even though he could very well be a borderline top 5 dynasty TE next year, they just can't see it.

Harvin, 2015 5

For

Garçon, 2015 3
I think I like Harvin but I could see someone preferring Garcon for a more stable QB situation
Adding context I received Harvin and made this move to get a little younger and also because I recently acquired Desean and wanted to diversify a bit.
You made the right call. Harvin is over 2 years younger and has the possibility of ending up in a good situation next year.

Had my previous trade for Bell put to bed, but managed to pull this off today:

Gave: 2016 first (will be LATE)

Got: Foster

Should help as I make the playoff push!

Rest of team:

QB: Luck, Orton, Manziel
RB: Shady, Miller, Oliver, Hyde, K Davis, B Brown
WR: Cobb, Hilton, Cooks, A Holmes, J Hunter, R Woods, Landry
TE: Graham, Ertz

Harvin does have major concussion issues though too. Just. Playing devils advocate. No strong feelings. Seems fair for both at the current moment.
