I have to say that was exactly what I expected from this game. 100%. That it would be just some dumb play and the Greeks would end up ahead.

Oooh Japan leveled though. Maybe the bus needs to come out of the garage yet...

The group of life!!!!

Is there any way all four of these teams can make it to the knockout rounds?

Silly question: Are there any kind of scoreboards in these stadiums? Like do the crowds see any kind of clock like we see on TV? In every shot of the stadiums all I can see are Jumbotrons.
This kind of got lost in all of the bite talk, but does anyone have an answer to this?
Yes, they'd have the score and time on it.
So the crowd can see the time? Interesting.
They can see the clock go to 90 minutes. After that the clock stops running.
I thought most were like this and had a spot for both game and stoppage times?
I'm talking out of my ###. I've seen a handful of stadiums- never had the extra-time playing- but it would be nice to think they did.

So I'm watching Univision and just saw a commercial for Metastasis. It appears to be some kind of Latin version of Breaking Bad.....like blatant rip-off even down to the hat and chemical symbol schtick.

Main character even goes from full head of hair to shaved bald and has a crippled son.

(edited to correct spelling of show's name)

The Liverpool striker, though, says that the incident has been blown out of all proportion.

"These things happen inside the penalty area," Suarez told Uruguay's Channel 10 radio station. "We were chest against shoulder. I also immediately suffered a blow to the eye."
Fifa's disciplinary code sets a maximum ban of 24 matches or two years, but the longest ban in World Cup history was eight games for Italy's Mauro Tassotti for breaking Spain's Luis Enrique's nose in 1994 with an elbow. Zinedine Zidane was given a three-match ban for headbutting Marco Materazzi in the 2006 final.
IIRC Leonardo also got eight games when he broke Tab Ramos's face. (ETA: wow...only four games -- would be much longer today.)
