It is tough in a game with 3 subs. Forcing someone to sit out hurts a team. I guess you could give them a free sub but then you'll have to have an independent person do the testing.
And the problem is, this is the WC final. I'd love to see what the NFL does if Manning or Brady got a concussion in the Super Bowl.

Should be at least 1-1. Could easily be 2-2 or 2-1 Argentina. Whoever loses is going to be sick.

Same thing they do every game. The NFL hasn't messed around with concussions the last several years. The process is independent and consistent.

They are a fantastic team.Germany's fun to watch. Just seem so much more "precise" then most other teams?
Argentina is exploiting the hell out of their main weakness though. Should be a great second half.

i actually think they have done a nice job shutting down passing lanes (cutting off passes). they have been tight..forcing germany to be patient and very precise, which they are.... having to choose their spots. very fun seeing both teams working their strengths.
Concussion - players will have to demand that it is addressed. Easy solution is to allow/require an additional sub for anyone taken off for a head injury. Could it be abused, sure, but I suspect not as often as opponents to the change would believe.
Should require some form a concussion protocol that must be followed prior to clearing the player to return. (I would allow a player to re-enter the game for the same sub if he receives medical clearance.)

I think it was largely the demands of ex-players that made the NFL finally take it seriously. I don't think FIFA will do anything until someone is seriously hurt or killed via a concurrent concussion.
