A sloppy afternoon in Buffalo for a game that only I and Dickie Dunn care about. UB leads UMass 13-3 in the early 3rd. Khalil Mack already has at least one sack and a pick-six.

Wow, talk about momentum swings. KU blocks and recovers an OU punt setting themselves up at the OU 6. KU runs it in to cut the OU lead to 6, 5 with the XP. But OU blocks the XP and runs it back to keep an 8 point lead.

Christ, OU sucks.

UB RB Branden Oliver has 43 (!) carries for 216 yards and a TD as UB has opened up a 32-3 lead over UMass. The schedule has been favorable of late, but they've rattled off 4 wins of 41-12, 42-14, 33-0, and they lead currently 32-3. Can't ask for more than that. About to be 5-2 (3-0), with their only losses at Ohio State and Baylor.

Kent, Ohio, Toledo, and BG loom down the stretch, but they'll have a very winnable game against Miami (OH) as well. One more win for bowl eligibility...would be just the 2nd time in D-1A team history that they'd be bowl eligible.

:towelwave:

Watching A&M v. Auburn I can't help but think, didn't the SEC used to play defense?
Agree. The sec strength used to be that the defenses were crazy fast. So big strong teams from the big 10 and big 12 got chewed up because the online winning in the trenches doesn't matter of the d backs are in the backfield right away.

 Alabama has allowed 1 TD in the past 4 weeks.
Alabama does not a conference make.

Florida was playing defense until this week.

Injuries and no help from the offense caught up with them against a good balanced offense.

From one or my sec people watching the game. "Good win for auburn, but no one cheats like they do. It's not even close."

Congrats (almost). Chips played a good first half vs #23 NIU, 14-14. Went south after that, 38-17 final. We haven't beaten a ranked team since 1991.
