Welp. That was embarrassing. Lay it on me, I deserve it.
Sorry man, that's a tough one. Played just like the OU game, they were up 23-7 at half and lost Mayfield. I had been tailgating since 8 am at Michigan-penn state and didn't even understand the gravity of TCU going for two. lol Pattersons guys never quit.

So I left the restaurant when it was 31-0. Can someone kindly tell me how the QB who overthrew a wide-open receiver by 10-15 yards earlier in the game pulled that off?

Oregon lost starting QB and Center and it became pretty obvious they couldn't score. TCU just kept getting momentum and then couldn't be stopped.

The TCU coach also changed his shirt at halftime.

Unbelievable that ASU keeps giving up those long 3rd down conversions on the ground.
This, their stud kicker missing a FG, and not going for 2 up five with 4 minutes left. Honestly Todd Graham prides his teams on not committing penalties and making mistakes, and he let the kids and the program down. Makes you never want ASU to win again IMO.

What a great performance. Clemson honestly has no chance at all. The only way Bama can lose is if Coker plays horribly and turns the ball over numerous times. I thought at the beginning of the year that this defense could become one of Bamas best ever, and I think it has now taken the reigns as THE best defense in the Saban era. No weaknesses. Db's are excellent, there is a pass rush and you can't run. Looks like an NFL front seven, and basically it is.
I, unfortunately, think this will end up as someone's sig after the national championship.

Ronnie Stanley, Will Fuller, and CJ Prosise all declared for the NFL today. Jaylon Smith isn't far behind with the only question what he does with respect to his knee injury.

Was reading speculation that he has a 3 million dollar lloyds of london policy IF he falls out of the first round, so he has that. I think he has to come out. If he comes back and can't really play thats losing that bird in the hand. He's protected either way this year.

What college coaches jump to the NFL after Balck Monday?

Brian Kelly probably the most common name, and supposedly he loves the Giants.

Saban, Harbaugh and Meyer are out.

Shaw? Sumlin? Mora?

You confusing the NFL with the drunk tank?

Sumlin will be doing well to still be an SEC head coach in 2017. No more overrated coach in any sport.
Honestly, I don't really think it matters. Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Miss State, and Auburn are basically fighting for 3rd in the SEC West indefinitely. Short of a really down year or some sort of Cam Newton/ Manziel situation those 4 simply don't have and can't get the firepower.

Sumlin was tongue in cheek...as is Mora. I was going to also list Spurrier but thought that was overboard.

"Chalk up third-year sophomore wide receiver/punt returner Jalin Marshall as the seventh Ohio State player to declare early for the NFL draft.

Marshall joins third-year sophomore cornerback Eli Apple, junior defensive end Joey Bosa, junior running back Ezekiel Elliott, fourth-year junior quarterback Cardale Jones, third-year sophomore linebacker Darron Lee and fourth-year junior safety Tyvis Powell, who previously said they were turning pro early."

Is Bama really getting more practice time because their semester isn't starting until after the bowl game or is this all :hophead: from the internet?

Brian Kelly leaving would surprise me. He flirted with the Eagles last time before they hired Chip.

Playing tOSU this week was appropriate as Kelly is Notre Dame's John Cooper. Sure he's done better than DavieWeisingham but they were historically terrible. Kelly's teams routinely come close but grasp defeat from the jaws of victory.

I would be honestly surprised to see him get a shot, not that he doesn't want one.

What happened to that bizarrely scheduled crappy bowl game that would come way after all the rest but just before the title game? Is it gone or has it not come yet?
