So apparently Harbaugh is planning to up the ante on last year's summer swarm this year by having a whole week of spring practice at that AMG academy in FL.
I love him.
He's freakin insane....I'm glad he's on my team though.

The dead period ends on Wednesday and Thursday will be the first day contact opens up again for college coaches and prospective recruits.

Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh will waste little time recruiting one of his top remaining targets, kicker Quinn Nordin, the nation’s top-ranked prospect at his position.

“Under the exact rules, he’s going to be at my house at 12:01 he said. That’s when it’s legal for him to be at my house,” Nordin said. “He said we can watch a movie, see how well we gel and he said he would sleep over after that.

“I was in tears laughing when he said that. He said the next day, if my parents didn’t want me to miss school, he would go to every class with me and go to lunch with me. I was laughing so hard.”

Harbaugh is attempting to flip Nordin from Big Ten rival Penn State, where he is committed, and many reminders of that are up in his house.

“He told me if I had a 6-foot-3 inch piece of carpet for him to sleep on, that would be enough. I said we have guest rooms, and he said ‘Tell you what, I’ll just sleep on the floor in your room.’ I said ‘Coach, I have Penn State stuff all over my walls.’ He said, ‘Tell you what, I can help you take it down.’”

That's pretty funny. But the thing I wonder about is the other recruits. If I'm a QB or prima ballerina WR being recruited by UM, I'm wondering when I get my sleepover. Hell, that guy's just a kicker, I want more!

I can't even be mad about that, and he's trying to poach the kid from my favorite team. :lmao:

You want more? Come take it! Don't blame me for rolling over so easily!!! You need to up your negotiation skills.

Congrats Alabama fans. Great team this year.

Nice run by Clemson. Will be back in the mix next year. Have seen why Meyer wanted Deshaun Watson so badly. Great player.

Season over. :( :kicksrock:

Five Clemson defensive starters declare early for draft today. Gallman is coming back.
Couple more still in the air but hopefully that is it. TJ Green was really the only surprise - everyone else was expected to go.
TJ Green thought that was a good game to go out on?

Yeah kind of odd. I don't know his personal stuff though so maybe he needed to. I know Kearse has a kid and was gone, but he played poorly himself.

Money is so big for those stupid games. No way they don't do this. And it's a horrible move. Your top two teams could split. But it's always about the $$$

The OU President said yesterday they need 1) to add teams, 2) to add a network, and 3) to add a CCG.

He's a typical politician, but not a great endorsement for Bowlsby.

Who would they add? With WVU, they kinda have to look east, no? Pick up Houston if they want another Tejas team and then like UConn?

God why on earth would anybody want UConn. They should be demoted to the MAC or or Qatar or something.

I doubt the big 12 expands but if they do it'll be byu and probably somebody like cincy.

BYU and Boise State would be great additions to the Big 12 if they could get both. Adds a rising rivalry and 2 good western teams.

I wanted UConn over Lousiville. That has a lot to do with how I view Louisville as slimy though with Petrino and Pitino.

These are the two I see mentioned the most. Not sure how mutual the feelings are.

The major coup would be ND.
Think ND is locked into the ACC in a pretty ironclad fashion for a while.

Final AP rankings:

1 Alabama
2 Clemson
3 Stanford
4 Ohio State
5 Oklahoma
6 Michigan State
7 TCU
8 Houston
9 Iowa
10 Ole Miss
11 Notre Dame
12 Michigan
13 Baylor
14 Florida State
15 North Carolina
16 LSU
17 Utah
18 Navy
19 Oregon
20 Oklahoma State
21 Wisconsin
22 Tennessee
23 Northwestern
24 Western Kentucky
25 Florida

I've always wanted Cincy & Louisville since WVU came on board. Decent football-wise. Good basketball additions. And a bridge to WVU

None of those schools bring anything to the table. Cincy and Houston are commuter schools, and UCONN is just too far away. I'd like to see BYU added.

Sounds like the CFP Final killed it in the south, mid-atlantic, southwest...while plummetted YOY in the midwest and west.

While the south, mid-atlantic, and southwest watched this year AND last year...the midwest and west apparently passed on the CFP final for...The Bachelor.

At Alabama we're seeing a transition in players leaving early, which is good for all of us. Kids are learning that IF you really have first-round level talent, you can benefit from coming back for your senior year. Ragland is showing that at Bama.

Of the 8 possible early exits, AShawn Robinson and Derrick Henry are the only 2 confirmed to leave...5 others are confirmed to stay ( Allen, Foster, Williams, Jackson, Harrison)...with OJ Howard left to announce.
