Weather Channel just quoted a 140 mph wind gust at Marco Island. Watching the Brett Adair feed from your link. Dude is just in his car, apparently next to the ocean. Not sure how smart that decision is.

Cat 1 is a huge break for our Tampa neighbors......far better than the Cat 3 or 4 this ##### was.

We have another hour or so of the worst of it.......we rode this out....we got very lucky here in Parkland (NW Broward County). Wilma was a far worse storm for us as it was a direct hit.

I feel for our friends down in the Keys......many many homes totally under water. Marco Island and Naples......God speed to them.
