***Official 2017 NCAA Hoops Tourney thread: Congrats UNC, all the refs from NCCG should be banned for life*** (1 Viewer)

I think UNC is better team, but good guards give UK a shot.  Keys to the game:

1) Rebound     -10 Meeks dominated and Jackson's 3 offensive hurt

2) Monk and Fox have to be Monk and Fox    25 combined not enough

3) MUST get something from the #4 position.    wasn't Willis but Humphries was huge

4) Take care of the basketball.   only 9 turnovers helped stay in the game

5) REBOUND

That's awesome.  I shot my proverbial wad on the Ducks game in Dallas vs Ohio St.  Right before the twins were born.  Disappointed with the outcome (of the game not the twins, though ask me tomorrow) but the experience was incredible.  Knew that was probably my last sports hurrah for a long time and savored it.   Enjoy!
I sat in those stands at Jerry World as time wound down in convinced it was the last time I'd be at a championship event including the Ducks. Considering I'm a bigger hoops fan than football fan, I'm definitely trying to figure out how to make this weekend work.

Damn TV station broke into the North Carolina game with 16 seconds left. "Tornado warning, take shelter," blah blah blah. I had to check the Internet to make sure NC won.

F you, tornado. There are more important things happening!

So, for those of us who's team unexpectedly has a Final Four game the night they're going to a Radiohead concert in Atlanta, is there an app offered to stream the games?

Scrapping my plans to head to Charlotte and catch the Charleston Battery match.

So here is my order of preference:

1. Oregon

2. Anybody but North Carolina.

I gotta go with Oregon first even though I'm not one of those "root for my conference first!" homers- I always thought that was silly shtick. But I've seen more of the Ducks than any of the other teams and I like them.

But honestly, I'll be fine with #2 as well.

The Ducks just look so good and I would not be surprised to see Dorsey hang 30 next week. Go Heels, but this team is scary - if they're on, I don't know how any of the other 3 can beat them. What they did to Kansas was pretty amazing, that Kansas team looked like the real deal and they just throttled them.

Justin Jackson needs to work on his shot selection too. It's been a problem of his all season IMO, not to say he hasn't been great, but if I was to lodge a complaint, that would be it. Those ugly fadeaways, rushed 3's from deep, he's too good at this level to settle for that ####.

The last 3 games Meeks has been a beast on the glass - this is what I've expected from him for the last 4 years, if they're gonna win it all, he needs double digit boards.

I got real worried when Berry picked up his first foul 2 minutes into the game, he needs to be careful - luckily it never became an issue, but if he would've picked up that second quickly, game would've been a different story.

I don't see them winning against Oregon with Jackson/Berry going 1/10 from 3 and shooting 11/29. In fact, if you told me their stat lines coming into this game, I'd have bet the farm on Kentucky.

Should be another great finish to another great tourney.

Any suggestions on getting legitimate tickets for Sat. & Monday.  Both wife & I Gonzaga grads.  She wants to go, I don't.  Is scalping still a plan?  Just don't know.
